Jimmerson is one of the top interior rushers in the class across southern California and is a balanced defensive tackle with the frame to be 285+ by the time his prep career comes to a close. He is strong at the point, uses his leverage well and gets underneath blockers while showing quick block recognition, change of direction and pursuit to the ball backside and behind the line. Jimmerson had 14 tackles, two for a loss and a forced fumble for a Santa Margarita team that won the state championship.

He was the defensive line MVP at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase against very good competition and it will be interesting to see how he does against the elite competition at this event. He’s explosive off the ball and has the initial punch to knock offensive linemen back. Jimmerson has a good first step outside followed by a club inside which wins a lot of reps in the 1-on-1 period.

Jimmerson is a very powerful interior rusher that is stout against the run and plays with good leverage and inside hand placement at the POA. He snaps out of his stance and creates immediate knock-back while showing he can eat blocks and two gap inside if needed. He wins with a high motor and pursuit to the ball when rushing the passer and has fluid hips/hands in transition and can quickly transition from run to pass. Jimmerson is overall a technically sound defender already heading into his second season for Santa Margarita and is a no-brainer FBS talent that is one of the best at his position in the Trinity League.
