One of the better run-stopping DBs in the state. Dallas is going to be an important piece of EK’s potential playoff run, and his run-stopping will be needed tonight against Grand Ledge, then again next week against (most likely) Howell.
Dallas’ current tape on Hudl showcases a solid ability to stop the outside run + screens. He’s pretty quick to react and does a nice job wrapping up and making stops for little to no extra yards. Good job staying square in the open field and making sure he doesn’t get juked. Dallas tends to hit a little high, but other than that, he’s a rock-solid defender.

I expect Dallas to earn a good amount of college attention this coming offseason. After a knee injury about two years ago, I wasn’t sure how Dallas would look once he was back on the field.
Doesn’t look like he’s skipped a beat. For one, Dallas is built well. He’s spent a lot of time in the weight room and has the height + size to play at the next level. Second, Dallas plays fast, and I like his physicality.
When I watched him against Byron Center, I loved his efforts on defense. I thought he stopped the run well. Dallas has also proven himself at running back- his burst and top speed show up well.
I still don’t know what position Dallas is best suited for at the next level. I could see him playing pretty much any position other than OL/DL/QB.

Dallas is here. After missing the entirety of the 2024 season with a torn ACL, Dallas is back and playing very well.
No tape, but I did have an opportunity to watch him up close and in person last week against Byron Center. Pregame, Dallas was hype, focused, and physical. In-game, he was just as focused and hit just as hard. Not a ton of run-stopping opportunities because he’s playing DC, but still a reliable tackler. I feel that Dallas could play DC or LB at a very high level this season, with some extra work on offense.
I also feel that Dallas should find recruiting success this coming offseason. If no D1s show interest, I’d expect the GLIAC to be all over him.

I was pleasantly surprised by

‘s performance last night.
For one, he passes the eye test. His listed 6’1″ 200 on Twitter seems about right. Plus, Dallas was loose and having a ton of fun all game. Vibing during warm-ups, hitting hard pre-game and during the game, and looked flat-out confident.
A handful of good run stops for Dallas. Like I said, he hits hard. I love the play speed- Dallas did not take any plays off. The one area for improvement I’ll mention is his hips- too tight to play DB at a high level. Added change of direction and hip fluidity will make Dallas a much better player.
Still, Dallas exceeded expectations. Love to see Dallas back on the field and performing at a high level.

Dallas was a hard rank. I even considered the Watch List again for him, as it’s difficult to rank players coming back from a severe injury.
Dallas is a little different. For one, he was someone I was supremely confident in pre-injury. Dallas had legit D1 athleticism. Coming back from injury, Dallas has been competing at camps, and I even have two testing data points, and I like what his testing numbers are, considering the torn ACL.
So, time will tell if

is back at 100%. While I see a lot of high school athletes regress after injury, I am more confident in Dallas as I’ve been for anyone. Can’t wait to see what he’s able to accomplish this season!

Dallas is another athlete who played very well on Varsity this past season. As a running back, he’s shown flashes of very impressive vision and athleticism. He’s able to break some good runs due to vision and being a little shifty. He’s nowhere close to some of the best RBs in the state yet, but with work that’s his potential. His tape at DB is even better. Like a lot of Caledonia DBs, Dallas shows a lot of smart, aggressive play. You can tell that he plays with confidence on that side of the ball, knows exactly what his job is, and executes well. Dallas also defends the run pretty well. This is a young prospect that does a lot of things right, but he doesn’t currently do anything at an elite level. The foundation is there though, and I am confident he’ll play a much bigger role in this Cal team next Fall.

Dallas took the crown of “Fastest at camp” this past weekend during the Prospect Tour Showcase during the timed 40 exercises, but that speed was also on display as he partook in one-on-one drills later in the day. Dallas was a young man who attacked all exercises with an emphasis on improving his skillset instead of going with the motions. Dallas was locked in from the first whistle of the camp to the last, and it all cumulated with an exceptional display of competition at the end. This young man was a menace out of the backfield, keeping the ball tight and going up for it when it was a pass. Dallas was able to run crisp routes out of the backfield, a trait that would make it unsurprising for me to see him lining up out wide in the future. Overall, Dallas showed to be a versatile player who I am sure has a bright future ahead of him.

Dallas is a scrappy back coming out of the highly competitive state of Michigan. After checking out his tape, it is clear that he has the speed to break away from everyone else on the field. Along with his unmatched speed, Dallas runs the ball hard and fights through tackles to keep advancing the ball toward the end zone. Another aspect of Moody’s game that jumps out to me is his balance when carrying the ball. There are times throughout his highlight tape where he is getting tripped up by defenders, but he proves to be able to collect his balance and keep moving, all while still running at an elite speed throughout the process. While the bulk of his touches have been as a Running Back, his 6-foot, 170-pound frame in the eighth-grade, could see him play Wide Receiver as he continues to grow.
