About Malachi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Extremely aggressive and with a lot of effort.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don’t except defeat. I take pride in becoming better. If I don’t give my full effort I feel like I failed or like I’m lazy.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in two Christian clubs called younglife and FCA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership skills through starting clubs at my school and developed being a servant leader as well through volunteering.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes when our new coaches first came to my school I was overlooked but now I’m a starter on a winning team.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that has good moral values and that can make me an elite football player and better person.

Malachi was one of the hardest workers on the field on Friday night. He’s a fluid, physical linebacker with the instincts and athleticism to pose a real problem for offenses. His ability to diagnose plays quickly and get downhill was extremely impressive.

-A downhill thumper who also has the range to get sideline to sideline. Good angles and solid speed.

-Good play recognition and block shedding allowed him to blow up plays before they developed. Trusts what he is reading.

-Relentless worker who never takes a play off. Was high effort all night, and it felt like he was in on every tackle.
