I am not sure anyone had a bigger night than Stephan had. This speedy senior wide receiver made big catch after big catch racking up 150 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Stephan ran excellent routes and showed sharp cutting ability gaining separation from defensive backs all night. On multiple plays the Grand Valley commit made tough catches look routine. He stretched out for balls and picked up a ton of yards after catch. Stephan is a game breaker for the falcons and you better know where he lines up at all times or these numbers will be the normal for this dynamic wide out.

Stephan had a great day, and I think he’ll play a big role on the 2026 East Kentwood squad. He projects as a slot receiver with a pretty similar skillset to Mitey Edmonds.
I was impressed with Stephan’s burst and change of direction. He looked even faster than he does on tape. Additionally, I didn’t see many drops from Stephan- good eye discipline, and strong hands through the catch. All-around a very productive day from Stephan, and I fully expect him to take a big leap next season.

I got a chance to see Jones work a few weeks ago and came away really impressed. His route running is good, his speed and physicality are top notch, and his catch radius is way better than I had anticipated. He is nearly impossible to guard on a double move. Time and time again, he sells one move and abruptly changes course, leaving DBs tied up and unable to close back in on him. Stephan and his team have a massive challenge this Saturday against Howell, so Jones will be an important piece for EK. He gives this team a true deep threat that could be tough to stop for Howell.
