Easton is a physical and active backer who does well diagnosing plays early and disrupting an opposing offense. He does a good job of pressing forward and will disengage from his blocks. He is a backer who is best as an on-ball attacking player, and he does a good job of taking good angles. Lots of traits to like.
Easton is an active backer with good instincts and moves well. He does a good job of shedding blocks and has good acceleration. He is effective as an on-ball backer and can be in space, he is a good all around prospect with lots of tools to like.
Easton jumps inside the top 120 and is an active backer with good size and physicality. He has a good burst and is a player who does well pressing forward and attacking. He will weave his way through traffic and does well shedding his block, and has good pursuit. He’s having a productive season and should garner late interest in recruiting.
Kojima will be a key part of the Orem defense. He’s a backer that flashes good instincts, will disengage from his blocks and continue his pursuit, and he has good overall size to take on bigger blocks. He has good tackling form, and with Lone Peak wanting to take the pressure off their signal caller, the run game will be key, and Kojima will help lead the charge to stymie the Lone Peak offense.
Kojima transfers in and was a two-way player last year on a limited basis. He was an effective running back with good vision, contact balance, and power as a runner. He earned tough yards and is a player who could earn a short yardage role for Orem. On defense, as a backer, he was impressive with his innate instincts and showed good speed to go along with his physicality and tackling form. He found himself around the football and was a much-needed player on that defense. With their losses, he’ll be asked to take on a bigger role, and he might see himself being more of an on-ball backer this year.
