Vaea has great size and an exceptional athlete. He is strong, and physical and showcases good range and depth. He has excellent vision and will diagnose a play quickly. He has great speed and does a nice job of weaving his way through defenders. Vaea is a physical player from start to finish, he is a heat-seeking missile who looks to run through you and will meet a ball carrier head-on. He is not afraid of contact and a player that makes you feel his physicality and a player that has great athleticism. He is at his best as an on-ball backer and where he can roam around and make plays. He is a player that should get Power-Four offers. Truly an exciting Linebacker in the state. One of the best.
