He was the unsung hero last year for the defense. He did all the dirty work and he was an active interior defensive lineman. He has good mass and shows better acceleration and quickness than one would suggest. He is a disruptor and he has an excellent motor. If Orem is to repeat as 5A state champions, Alamoti will be the key cog that nobody talks about.

Lavaki is a defensive tackle with good size and is a good run stuffing tackle. He has good strength and has good side to side quickness to him. He has quick hands, does well advancing his positioning and is a defensive tackle with good traits to like and does well working the interior.

Lavaki has a chance to be a big part of the defensive line rotation and come in handy for depth, and towards the end of the season and into the postseason. He’s an integral part of the line to keep everyone fresh, and should factor in this season, he has potentially a huge role for that line.
