Major has great size and frame and will continue to grow into it. He’s a player whose been constantly double-covered and still impacts plays. He has good physicality to his game, and he has good closing speed and a good short-area burst. He does a good job taking on linemen who outweigh him 50+ lbs. He’s a versatile player and can line up on the edge or move inside. He shows good hip bend and does a good job advancing in tight quarters. He’s an excellent athlete and a true P4 recruit.

Major worked inside on the evening and he was exceptional. He has the power to work the interior, and even being outweighed by linemen, he showed good strength and used his speed and technique to win inside. He overwhelmed many of the interior linemen on the evening and did a good job of getting into the body of the lineman and using his short-area burst and hands to finish off his reps. It will be fun to see him work inside this year and create havoc.

Major has exceptional size and good twitch to him. He is quick off the line and does a good job of pursuing the ball carrier. He does a good job of leveraging his size and length against the opposing lineman. He has good strength and is a physical player. Good explosiveness and great technique. He has good hand fighting and shows good violence to them, exceptional talent, great ceiling.

Major is our pick for Region 9 Defensive Player of the Year. He is an absolute force and a dynamic athlete. He’s too gifted to only play on one side of the ball. I expect him to see snaps on offense, and he’ll contribute on that side. His calling is as an elite pass rusher, and he potentially can reach 20 sacks and disrupt every series on defense. He is a premier athlete and arguably one of the edge rushers in his class

Stokes is an elite playmaker. He’s effective on both sides of the ball. He should get some play at tight end and as a big slot in some packages on offense. He is truly elite as an edge rusher and overall chaos creator. He is explosive off the line, has good lateral quickness, moves well, has good speed and showcases violent hands. He can disengage hie blocks and pursue the ball carrier. He isan exceptional talent and is a multi-year Power Four starter, elite traits.

Stokes returns as one of the top sack leaders from last season. Has flexibility to bend at the LOS. Initial quickness to read and react. Shows use of hands as a pass rusher to get to the QB. Expect Stokes to have another productive season as one of the EDGE prospects in the state of Utah for 2028 class.

Stokes is a hidden gem in the St.George area that came to Salt Lake to showcase his abilities. Shows flexibility to bend at the LOS.
