MJ is a versatile lineman who has the power to work inside and can be a power rusher when moved to the outside. Watching him closely over the past year, I prefer him on the inside as he can use his power and speed to his advantage. He is a defensive lineman who does a good job of advancing his position and does better when he can use his power and make his lineman feel him over and over and wear down his man as the game goes on. He’s had a full offseason and is another year removed from his lower body injury and we should see his explosiveness back this year and that should translate into a big year. He should continue to get FBS/FCS looks.

MJ has great size and should continue to fill out his frame. He’s a player with a good athletic build, and he performed well during the agility drills and when they broke down to positional drills. He had reps where he showcased good speed and power combination to beat his linemen. He will have a full offseason where he is healthy and will be a key performer and potentially be a disruptor on the interior. Great upside.
