About Britton
Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Britton has great size and has always played with great footwork, good burst of speed, and physicality. His transition to a backer role is a natural fit for that and with his instincts as an offensive player will allow him to diagnose plays quickly and disrupt passing windows. Britton has all the tools you want to see and he should have his recruitment elevated with his new role for the upcoming season. He is a D1 talent and schools that are holding off on offering him will be missing out. He will be an exceptional backer this year for Orem.

Britton has added good mass this offseason and he was used on both sides during the event. On offense, he displayed strong hands, got open on the short and intermediate routes and got open for his signal caller and helped moved the chains and pick up yards after the catch. Defensively, he moves well, has good lateral quickness and is light on his feet. The transition to defense will be fun for him for the upcoming season. He’s got great size to be a backer and with his hands, will be a natural as an off-ball backer who is comfortable in space. It’s a big year ahead for him.

is a 6’1 170 pound reclass prospect out of Westlake. He can get it done in various positions, such as TE, WR, and DE. Britton was a hot name during this summers camp circuit collecting multiple MVP honors. Most notable was Tight End MVP at the BYU Camp. This young beast is a headache for LB’s, and will get a lot of attention from Safeties when stretching the field. Ball security is no issue due to his strength and big hands. Britton also likes to make something happen after every catch.

– Johnson continued his excellent summer at the All-Poly camp. A week after winning the Tight End MVP at the BYU camp, he again showed that he’s one of the best 2028’s in the state of Utah
– Advanced route running that leads us to believe he truly can play either tight end or wide receiver right now. Add in his moves off the line and he could be up next in terms of versatile tight ends that can stretch the field
– Stands 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds with exceptionally strong hands and wrists. Strength allowed for him to secure the ball and withstand the defenders trying to strip it/bring him down
– Was apparent very quickly that he was a favorite target of his quarterback
