Will has added good weight to his fame and still kept his speed. That’s been a key part to his offseason that will translate into him playing and getting offers at the next level. He has good hips and closing speed. He can slide into the slot to cover the athletic slot receivers, and he can be left on the boundary as he is athletic and springy to match with taller receivers. He’s got the experience starting varsity for multiple years, and that has given him an edge. He’s a player who will continue to garner P4 looks in recruiting and has great upside to his game.
Rasmussen is an athletic mover who will be asked to cover some elite receivers for Lone Peak. Rasmussen is quick twitched, has good speed, and does a good job of sticking to a receiver and showing good ball skills
Rasmussen is a cover corner with good hips and does a good job sticking to his receiver. He does well against taller receivers and will be a nuisance and disrupt plays that come his way. He shows good lateral movement and quickness, that trait will allow him to stick with twitchy receivers. Rasmussen has done well this offseason and will look to showcase his skills and garner additional D1 offers.
During the 7’s event, Rasmussen showed good cover skills and quick acceleration, and lateral movement. He has good closing speed and does a good job of keeping everything in front of him and being a pest to his opposing receiver. He showcases good hands and recovery.
Rasmussen had a good showing on the night and he is a corner with good speed and moves well laterally. His athletic skillset allows him to be versatile and be a boundary corner or slide into the slot. Rasmussen does a good job of sticking to a receiver and had good reps during the 1v1 and 7v7’s.
Rasmussen is an athletic mover who plays the boundary cornerback position. He showcases excellent recovery speed and change of direction. With loose hips, he’s able to back peddle, turn and burn with ease, and has good instincts to stick to the receiver’s hip pocket. Rasmussen has active hands, disrupts passes that come his way, and creates a lot of tip drills because of that. Rasmussen will fight through defenders, help out in run support, and isn’t afraid to do the dirty work. He’s a hard-nosed corner that coaches will love because of that effort. Rasmussen lines up exclusively as a boundary corner but is agile enough to line up as a slot corner to cover smaller, more elusive receivers. His active hands and closing speed help him be a nuisance to opposing receivers. Rasmussen’s ability allows the defense to shade safety help elsewhere and he does well on an island as a cover corner.

provides a real spark for his offense. With some great agility, he’s so shifty that it’s hard for defenders to get a good grip on him. Even when they are able to make contact, Rasmussen is a slippery back and often finds ways to squeeze out of tackle attempts. When he goes out for a pass, he’s just as dangerous. His agility has him running some really crisp routes and his burst gives him nice separation. As only a freshman, he averaged 6.7 yards a carry but only managed to find the endzone one time. Rasmussen, Utah’s 28th-ranked prospect, could see that number take a big jump in his second year.
