Akana is an exceptional two-way athlete, and he’ll be an important part on both sides of the ball. As a defensive back, he brings good speed, anticipation, and shows the closing speed and range you want to see. He has good physicality and will be tasked to shade and cut down some key receivers for Lone Peak. Offensively, he has a good release package and shows good footwork. He easily creates separation and is a receiver who is strong at the catch point and creates with the ball in his hand.

Akana is an exceptional two-way player and impacts the game on both sides. I prefer him as a receiver, he showcases a good release package, has good footwork, high cruising speed, and is strong at the catch point. He’s added nice size this offseason and he’ll look to have an impact versus Granger.

Akana is an exceptional athlete and an exciting two-way player. As a receiver, he has a good release package, footwork is excellent, he’s a fluid route runner, and moves well laterally. Akana creates separation with ease and is strong at the catch point. He has put on good size this summer, and as a Safety, he has good range, is instinctual, and will help out on the opposing team’s best receiver. An underrated aspect of his game is his arm, and he’s been asked to be the kicker as well. Overall, he is an exceptional athlete.

During the 7’s event,, he showcased great speed and footwork and as a receiver, routinely got open. He has strong hands and is exceptionally strong at the catch point. He’s put on great size this offseason and defensively, is always the anchor to the defense and has great closing speed and a player that imposes his physicality at will.
