CARSON VS. SAN PEDRO

This game will decide the Marine League championship and these are likely the two best teams in the City Section. Carson has outscored its last two opponents 90-0 and is coming off a 50-0 win over Narbonne. [player_tooltip player_id='569767' first='Chris' last='Fields III'] threw for 200 yards on just seven completions with six touchdowns in that win. Eric Myers ran for 142 yards with a touchdown and [player_tooltip player_id='1659078' first='Craig' last='Walker'] had two touchdown catches. San Pedro was competitive against undefeated Laguna Beach which is impressive. The Pirates have scored over 45 points in each of their last four games. Seth Solorio is averaging 279 yards per game with 28 touchdowns [player_tooltip player_id='1683779' first='Elias' last='Redlew'] has 1155 receiving yards with 14 touchdowns.

CHINO HILLS VS. RANCHO CUCAMONGA

This game will decide the Baseline League championship. Chino Hills is coming off a major 27-19 win over Damien. [player_tooltip player_id='401215' first='Alex' last='Medyn'] threw for 199 yards with two touchdowns and ran for another for Chino Hills. Jacob Jimenez had a 64-yard touchdown catch and Troy Reams had a sack. Rancho Cucamonga is coming off a 41-7 win over Etiwanda. [player_tooltip player_id='1000930' first='Jacob' last='Chambers'] ran for two touchdowns and threw for 131 yards with a score. James Strong III ran for 111 yards with a touchdown and Nate Mensah and Darion Fluker each had interceptions. I think Rancho Cucamonga is better in the trenches led by [player_tooltip player_id='401281' first='Malik' last='White'].

TUSTIN VS. CAPISTRANO VALLEY

This will decide the Delta League championship and both teams are 8-1. Tustin is coming off a 42-21 win over Western and ran for 247 yards. [player_tooltip player_id='1908687' first='Elijah' last='Robinson'] ran for 187 yards with a touchdown and defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='668740' first='Jeremiah' last='Williams'] ran for two touchdowns. Tim Ioane had a sack and an interception to lead the defense and [player_tooltip player_id='1197561' first='Jon' last='Ioane'] had a fumble recovery. Williams and [player_tooltip player_id='797093' first='Cooper' last='Cook'] each had sacks. Capo Valley is led by quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1197373' first='Talon' last='Spencer'] who has 21 touchdowns and 9 rushing touchdowns. He spreads the ball around well but [player_tooltip player_id='1279271' first='Colin' last='Hooper'] leads the team in touchdowns and Brody Saavedra is a top target. I think Tustin's defense is too big and fast for Capo's offense.

MISSION HILLS VS. SAN MARCOS

Mission Hills may be an Open Division team in San Diego and San Marcos is a strong contender in Division 1. The Grizzlies are coming off two blowout wins over Torrey Pines and Rancho Bernardo. [player_tooltip player_id='401299' first='Troy' last='Huhn'] threw four touchdown passes for Mission Hills against Rancho Bernardo and De'Mariye Stephen had two of Mission Hills' four interceptions. San Marcos is coming off a 24-21 win over Torrey Pines. Zamar Reese has been one of the top running backs in San Diego for San Marcos and [player_tooltip player_id='780314' first='Kreet' last='Makihele'] threw for 230 yards with two touchdowns last week.

CORONA DEL MAR VS. YORBA LINDA

Corona del Mar has already clinched a share of the Bravo League title but if Yorba Linda wins, there will be a three-way tie between the two teams and San Juan Hills. [player_tooltip player_id='1715179' first='Brady' last='Annett'] will be an All-County quarterback and threw seven touchdown passes last week for Corona del Mar. Garrett James has been the deep threat for CdM and [player_tooltip player_id='1000923' first='Dorsett' last='Stecker'] is a playmaker at receiver. Yorba Linda doesn't have the star power CdM has but is very deep and well-rounded. Vaughn Sharp is a top two-way player for Yorba Linda and [player_tooltip player_id='1857030' first='Thomas' last='Knutson'] is a good corner who will be tested against the Sea Kings.

Centennial is coming off a 59-49 win over Norco.
MATER DEI VS. ST. JOHN BOSCO

This is usually the marquee game of the season but the hype is significantly weaker this season. St. John Bosco is 10-0 and will likely be the top seed in Division 1. [player_tooltip player_id='959174' first='Koa' last='Malau'ulu'] has thrown for 2002 yards with 30 touchdowns and just one interception. [player_tooltip player_id='209113' first='Madden' last='Williams'] leads the receiving corps with 712 yards and eight touchdowns.
