The Tigers squad has made an early case for the top team in the Section, thanks to playmakers like [player_tooltip player_id='1344725' first='Abelardo' last='Hernandez'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1575797' first='Julian' last='Dreni']. North Rockland enters this game with a 1-1 record. The Red Raiders entered the season with a close loss against PSAL Curtis, but bounced back last week with a huge win against Clarkstown South, 30-14. Monsignor Farrell and CBA-Syracuse are two big time opponents who got the better of the Brothers to start their season. Coach Burns, and CBA-Albany will look to bounce back this week against a good Blue Streaks Team. Niskayuna enters this matchup following a Week One win against Yorktown, and a Week Two loss at the hands of Shenendehowa. Chenango Forks sits at 2-0, with a win over Owego Free Academy to start the season, and Maine Endwell last week. Key players for the Blue Devils in this game will be Evan Truesdale, [player_tooltip player_id='1639382' first='Brysen' last='Fry'], and Taylor Fink. Windsor Central enters this matchup at 1-1, fresh off a loss against Waverly. Week one was a win against Tioga in a defensive showcase. This past week we saw the Griffins, bounce back with a win against Pittsford 39-20. Fairport enters this matchup sitting at 2-0. The Red Raiders have wins against Aquinas Institute last week, and Ithaca to start their season. The Eagles sit at 2-0 in 2025, with wins over Frontier to start the season, and Kenmore West last week. In defensive performance the Dragons won a close game 10-3. In Week Two, they battled Newburgh Free Academy, where they took home a close 17-14 win. The Warriors started off strong with a win against St Peter's and backed that up against Section 1 North Rockland. Last week, Curtis took down Lincoln in a 14-6 game, to move to 3-0 on the year.
