Toher is the most complete runner on this list. He’s got short-area quickness, a really quick first step, but can also run through defenders and break tackles consistently. His vision is a weapon. He always makes the right decision in the hole, and always takes the edge and turns the corner when given the chance. Toher glides when he runs, it’s unbelievably smooth, and his lower half is super fluid. He’s a very complete runner, but I’d love to see him in the receiving game a bit more. That’s really the only visible hole in his game that I can see. I’m really excited to see him in his senior year. I think he could put together a really impressive season.

Toher had another great game for the Brother’s. He only played the first half, but accumulated three total touchdowns through the ground and air. Toher displayed a physical play style through the game and would not be stopped. He had outstanding footwork, and cut through holes with ease. Toher has five touchdowns in two games with Prep Redzone in attendance.

Toher had a monster game for the Brothers to help pick up their first win of 2025. The Junior RB had over 200 yards, and three touchdown throughout the game which propelled the Brothers to a 40-21 win over Saratoga Springs.

We were in attendance to watch Thomas Toher Thomas Toher 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB/ATH CBA-Albany | 2027 State NY in Albany for the Heroes Bowl, and the CBA-Albany prospect did not disappoint. Standing at 5’9″ 185-Pounds, he displays a solid frame for the RB position.

Toher displays excellent body control and fluidity. He can take hits and stay on his feet despite losing balance, allowing him to add YAC in both the air and ground game. As a RB, he displays good vision and can find the gaps, and kick it outside with ease. When he reaches the second level he is quick to reach his top speed and is hard to track down.

Toher is having a solid season, the Junior back will receive recruiting interest shortly, as he is easily a top back in the state in his class.

Thomas Toher Thomas Toher 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB/ATH CBA-Albany | 2027 State NY is a blazing-speed RB that is going to burst into the open lane with a ton of urgency behind him. His ability to gain chunks of yardage, outrun the entire defense, and rely on his ball carrier vision was critical. Evidently, Tohers excels at bouncing outside runs quickly to then lean the corner for a score. Knowing how to keep his balance on big runs near the sideline and in bounds to gain extra yardage showed on multiple occasions. A true home run threat that defenses have to be aware of.
