Expert Analysis

Standing at 6’5″ 250-Pounds, Crisera is on the smaller side of the spectrum for a lineman. The prospect is one of the top athletes on Long Island, and he will be taking his talents to Stonehill next season.
His frame might be on the small side, but he plays like a beast. In the trenches, he bulldozes rushers, and uses a good blend of physicality, and good hand placement to eliminate opposing players from the play. I like him more in Run Reps, given his frame, but he has showed good consistency in Pass Pro Reps. Stonehill is getting an underrated lineman in Crisera.
Congratulations Charles!

Just like Coan, the big lineman from Bayport just made his commitment. He’ll be taking his talents to Stonehill, where I think he’ll thrive. Last season, this Bayport offensive line was a machine. Everyone talked about the amazing seniors, but Crisera put himself on the map with his dominance all season long—and of course, colleges took notice. At 6’5”, Crisera was bulldozing his way through defensive linemen all season. Bayport had one of the best run attacks on the Island last year, and I could see that happening again. With his athleticism, he’ll be a game-changer on defense this year as Bayport looks to win another county title. Crisera will be in the conversation for the Zellner Award (given to Suffolk’s top lineman).

Crisera continues the theme of some of the top offensive tackles in New York, really from Long Island, who have a long, lean build but show good athleticism and some power on tape.
Crisera plays with a great motor. It’s hard to find an OL in New York for whom you can legitimately see the toughness and work rate on tape. You even see it on his defensive reps.
Of the tackle group, he is the most violent finisher on tape. Put him in any 1v1 situation with a LB or DE, and on tape, there is pretty much one outcome: a strong inside punch and finish to the ground.
The biggest thing for Crisera is he needs to get bigger, at 250 he will need to add at least 30lbs to be a Tackle at the next level, but he has the frame to add that weight over time.

A lengthy OL who was able to play all around for this offensive line. Long arms that granted him to keep pass rushers at bay. The ability to handle defenders with balance and power was shown throughout the film. Playing reps at the DE position was present. Occasionally, being aggressive in down blocking with pancake blocks in the run game was evident. Quickness coming off the LOS in both run blocking and pass blocking did allow him to gain an advantage over opponents.

Crisera is an entirely new name to me, and I did not learn about him until about 2-3 weeks before these rankings came out – Crisera has room to build his frame at only 250 pounds, but he has a good-looking body type you can build on.
Crisera is one of the nastiest offensive linemen in this class; at 6’5 250, there is room to get bigger and stronger, which will be necessary for the next level, but there is a lot to like on Crisera’s tape.
