Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
Coryea, has easily been the top RB in the state this season, and we saw his game against Shenendowa, which served as direct proof for our theory. Saratoga Springs, has a date with CBA-Albany for the Section Two Championship, and a big game from Coryea, will lead them to victory.
On the season, he has 50 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, he has 25 touchdowns, on 2,104 yards, and averages around 210 yards per game. If math serves correct, he is around 400 yards from breaking the Section Two Record, which is something the star RB absolutely deserves.

Colleges Offer him. Coryea had an outstanding game on the ground, and is easily my MVP for the Blue Streaks in this game. I truly don’t understand how a player of his caliber has no offers.
The Blue Streaks RB, was a physical runner. He would not go down, and contact was his best friend. With the ball slick and hard to hold onto, he showed great ball control, and never fumbled. I like his speed, and with his physicality it is elite. He controlled the LOS, and slowed plays down, allowing him to find gaps all game.

The Senior RB, has been a focal point of the offense this season. He has rushed for an average of over 150 yards per game this season, and had 172 yards, and two touchdowns in game one. The Plainsmen will look to stop him, but if Coryea gets going, he will be an X-Factor, as the defense will have to stop him, and the solid passing attack the Blue Streaks Offense has at their disposal.

Coryea leads Section Two in Rushing Yards this season. The First half, saw him bottled up by the Guilderland defense. He is on the smaller side, but uses his frame and becomes a physical runner.
Coryea had amazing footwork, making nice cuts and good juke moves throughout the game. He broke free late for a major run, that helped seal the win. He is fast, and can reach the second level quickly, and with ease.

We will see Coryea, and Saratoga Springs this weekend. The Senior RB, found himself at 30th at the RB position following the Summer Re-Ranks.
Coryea leads the state in rushing yards, with over 1,000 through just five games this season. He has twelve touchdowns, and averages over 200 yards a game.
On tape, he displays a high motor, and attacks the ground on each carry. He is a physical back, who can lower his shoulder and take hits while controlling the ball. His IQ, and vision are shown, as he can find holes with good timing and rush for big gains.

Gliding ability to see the open holes with good ball vision and work defenders in a foot race. In the same way, the complete effort to run with a high motor will grant positive yards. Hitting from different points with elusiveness because of his lower center of body to be key for Coryea. Additionally, being that third-down passing back that his QB could check down to was essential. From time to time, Coryea was in on special teams for both the return and defending units.
