Film Watch: Week 1-3 Highlights

Lockrow is a talented 2027 WR as part of the Saratoga Springs roster. He stands at 6’1″ 175-Pounds, and has gotten off to a strong start to the season, and looks to keep working through the Section Two Comp.

Lockrow is a two way threat, and can play on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Mainly used as a pass catcher, he can lineup out wide, and uses his spacing and route running to gain separation. He has a good IQ, and I like his ability to sit in the defense and make string catches, for big gains. On defense, he is a pure ball tracker, who is a sticky defender, not letting any separation go from his man. Lockrow is having a strong season, and the film shows it.

Defensively, he shows an aggressive mentality with the ability to attack the football. Pairing strong ball skills with notable short-area quickness was high for him. Lockrow will get physical on receivers, and he is not afraid to press at the LOS. Likewise, at the receiver position, the ability to make contested catches stood out at a high rate. Lockrow has a huge number of athletic traits, which we saw in his leaping ability and body control at the catch point.
