Simon was limited throughout the game, but still showcased some elite skills. The 6’3″ TE, has elite size, and can play as a LB if needed but I like him more on offense.
Simon was used mostly as a blocker in this game for the Blue Streaks, but he had a good game. Blocking is a key aspect of a TE. Simon displayed great hand placement, and outstanding strength. I like him a lot in the run game.

Simon had scouts in attendance for him, as he took on Guilderland. The 6’3″ TE has a good Fram, and was used mostly as a blocker.
I like Simon’s frame, and he is built for the college level as a TE. In a run first offense, Simon displayed key blocks and good hand placement against opposing defenders. He had a touchdown catch, and as a receiver displayed good hands, and solid route running.

The Saratoga Springs TE stands at 6’3″ 220-pounds, displaying an excellent build for the position.
He has excellent movement of the LOS thanks to his fluid hips. He is another prospect who lines up on the line. He is a good route runner who excels at crossing routes. He has good COD and is solid over the middle of the field.
The Section Two prospect can play on both sides of the ball but his main tape is at TE where he protects at the next level.

Simon, who, despite being one of the smaller guys in this group, does his work strictly from an in-line TE position – as a receiver, he shows good explosiveness off the LOS. He has some twitch and loose hips that you see in his route runner and catch radius. There are a lot of crossing routes here, and he runs them well,l but you would like to see a little more variety on tape – there is not a ton of reps blocking, and the reps there are a lot of sideline film, which won’t show us too much.
His best traits are his movement skills over the middle of the field, his ability to change direction, and his twitchiness, which creates a matchup problem for linebackers.
