Nunez was one of the veteran Lineman in Warwick. He can play both sides of the ball, but as the Showcase, he took defensive reps. Standing at 6’1″ 268-Pounds, he displays good size for a Defensive Lineman, and mainly fits on the interior of the Line. He had a solid showing in Warwick, and was quick out of his stance. He had a good first step and utilized his punch on almost every rep. His hand placement and footwork were exceptional, beating each Lineman he faced, and knocking them off balance.

In terms of interior defensive lineman, I admired the performance of

. Like Arias before him, Nunez was quick out of his stance. He made it his business to punch, getting hands and stunning the man in front of him each time. On at least two occasions that I noted, he read his matchup like a book, recognizing they were leaning and snatching them down, discarding them to the side. What further made Nunez such a disruptor inside is how quickly he was able to change direction and redirect. I wish to see Nunez get his butt up just a tiny bit more in his stance. This tweak would make his get off absolutely devastating.

Ryan’s motor never stopped throughout the day, setting the tone for his performance and consistently standing out among the group. His hand usage was advanced, showing a full toolbox of pass rush moves to work past offensive linemen. An aggressive initial punch, a powerful club, and a quick swim move gives Ryan the chance to win in multiple ways rather than relying on just one approach. That combination of effort, technique, and physicality put Ryan firmly in the conversation as one of the top performers at the event.

Standing at 6’3″ 265 pounds, Nunez has a solid build for a lineman. As a prospect Nunez projects as an IOL who should gain weight to around 285-300 to improve his frame.
Nunez has a quick first step and his quickness is visible on tape. He is great at staying inside of lineman and excels as a lead blocker. In Run Pro plays, he can lead his team with deadly blocks opening gaps for RB’s. In Pass Pro, he has a good bend and anchor.
Given size and tape Nunez could take snaps on the defensive side of the ball if needed, but he projects as a Guard with the best twitch and quickness in this class.

Nunez definitely benefits from the quality endzone tape that Cornwall Central gets out. Coaches can confidently evaluate the tape. He projects as a guy who can play guard or can even kick into center at the next level.
Nunez is undersized from a weight perspective right now but he has a frame that could eventually end up around the 300 mark – I think he displays some of the best quickness and twitch you will see from an IOL in this class. In Pass Pro, I like his bend and anchor; I also think his quickness stands out here, where he does an excellent job of staying inside on guys.
The skillsets he displays from the guard positions also do align with some things you would like to see from a defensive line prospect, not much tape there but something to consider when evaluating.

Nunez may be considered undersized by the normal OL metrics, even the metrics seen on this list, but he is a very agile, athletic IOL prospect out of Cornwall Central.
Cornwall Central has some of the best endzone tape of any program in the northeast, so you get a very good look at what Nunez can do – he likely is a center at the next level, could bulk up and be an agile guard but easily one of the most athletic OL prospects this class.
