Midseason Player of the Year Watch List

<p>We have hit the midseason point of the regular season! 4 weeks are in the books with 5 remaining before playoffs start. Through these first 4 weeks we have seen some unbelievable performances from teams and individuals. Both of which had led to big wins. With the halfway point upon us, it is time to check in on how things are shaping up for the Prep Redzone WI Player of the Year race. The honor is awarded after the season once all the State Championships have been decided and stats are finalized. There are three key areas when it comes to the honor that we focus on:</p>

<li>Play for a team that qualified for the WIAA Playoffs</li>

<li>Have raw stats that are in contention for most in their category</li>

<li>Be responsible for a large portion of the team's production</li>

<p>Because a lot can change in 5 weeks, we are going to focus on athletes who play for undefeated, 4-0 teams and are also producing at a high rate. It is important to remember that this is just a Watch List. It is only our initial look into how things are unfolding. A lot can and will change over the next 10 weeks of the season as we continue on the path towards State. With that said, this group is elite! Coaches, make sure every one of these are kids you have checked into because they are some of the best at what they do.
