Bode quarterbacked his team deep into the 2025 playoffs with his elite dual threat abilities. Abilities that will open up chances for him to be recruited at multiple positions at the next level. As a sophomore the QB put up 138/232, 2,035 yards passing, and 20 TDs. He added 158 carries, 1,270 yards rushing and 20 more TDs on the ground.
That playmaking has continued on the basketball court where he leads the team with 14 PPG. The sophomore is 2nd on the team with 4.6 RPG, and he is 4th with 1.0 SPG, and 5th with 1.3 assists per game.
The explosive playmaker for Mondovi is going to be pushing for one of the most productive careers in recent WI history at his current rate. He is so quick, fast, and athletic and has steadily improved as a passer year over year giving me confidence he is on path to staying at that position at the next level potentially. Big things ahead for Bode.

It was great to see Bode in person for the first time. Obviously we weren’t able to see him throw during the combine, but what the sophomore did show was that the athleticism that has made him one of the most dominant dual threat QBs in the state in recent years is legitimate. Bode checked in at 6′ 190 lbs with a 6’3″ wingspan. The ’28 ran a 4.74 40, jumped 34.5″ in the vertical, ran an impressive 7.28 L-Drill, and had a pair of 9′ broad jumps. All numbers that could play at any skill position, which will open up secondary skill position opportunities along with his QB talents. Bode has the talent to play all over the field and it will be interesting to see how teams view him.

Hard to be one of the top passers returning in the state when you’re also busy rushing for 1,000+ yards. Sophomore

made that look easy though as he carved up defenses with his arm and legs in 2025. We have to focus on the passing though because there is plenty to talk about. Bode is such a gifted athlete that it looks easy and natural when he drops back to pass. Light on his feet, lightning quick throwing motion and release, the ball jumps out of his hand with velocity. It is impressive how naturally gifted he is at throwing the ball around the field. He clearly made improvements in the finer parts of his technique, but there is room for even more growth. That will only make him more of a threat this coming season. The dual threat returns talented weapons too. Between that and his impressive natural gifts expect a monster year in 2026 from Bode.

Bode and Mondovi got their revenge in Level 3 against Regis. Their earlier matchup this year was Mondovi’s only loss, which came on a Regis Hail Mary. This time around Falkner and his offense left no doubt. The rising dual threat did damage on the ground and through the air. Bode was accurate, showed off a quick release especially when facing pressure, and attacked every level of the field with his arm. On the ground the 2028 is essentially a gifted RB. Strong through contact, decisive, excellent vision to find lanes and set up blocks or defenders. Having a guy who can threaten a defense equally with his arm and legs puts the defense in a terrible position. This is a kid to have on your radars already. Dive into his highlights.

We have talked about some scary athletes to this point in the article. A dual threat QB. A dominant two-way athlete. Bode is both of those. He is also an underclassman and that might be the scariest part. That teams still have two more years of facing off against the QB. The physical tools are enough to fuel nightmares too. Bode runs hard, ripping through arm tackles and then showing off the wheels to beat angles in the open field. He runs the ball like an RB, but he throws like a legitimate QB. Bode can naturally drive the ball into spots for his guys to catch and run efficiently.
If that offensive dominance wasn’t enough we even see him play a bit of defense too. The total stat line for the 2028 includes 1,608 passing yards, 1,048 rushing yards, and 34 TDs. On defense he has piled up 25 tackles, 1 FR, 1 PBU, and 2 INTs.

It is hard to say that a kid that is Top 2 at his position and Top 25 overall after already being a varsity starter since his freshman year is a breakout performer. That is what Bode has done. As a freshman we got so excited from the athleticism. He could torch defenses with his legs and blend of pure speed and power to gain yards. What has set him apart this fall is the passing has noticeably improved. He is now completing 63.3% of his passes through three games and is averaging 13.2 yds/comp. He also has 4 TDs to 0 INTs. The way Bode understands how to deliver the ball jumps off the tape too. He knows when to loft it into a spot for his man to run underneath it. He knows when he needs to get torque from his body into the ball to fit it into spots. This season the athletic QB is proving to be a promising QB recruit with his arm and legs.

When it comes to small school athletes, Bode is the cream of the crop in the current 2028 rankings. The Mondovi QB1 will be back at the helm after earning a ton of playing time as a freshman. He checks in at 6′ 185 lbs, is strong as you could hope for a QB to be, and dominates with his legs. Bode can hit a seam and take it 50+ yards to the house on any given play. This fall will be an exciting one as he not only runs through defenses, but also continues to establish and develop his passing abilities. This is a must watch kid because the breakout potential is massive this fall.
