In his final football game of his career, SJCA’s Zach Rizzo Zach Rizzo 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB St. Joseph Catholic Academy | 2026 State WI put on an absolute show to secure the D7 State Championship. Just from the stats alone you can see how surgical Zach was. He hit his man in stride on essentially every pass. The senior was fearless with his decision making too, pushing the ball deep downfield to utilize his mismatches out wide. The senior has an elite frame at 6’5″ 240 lbs and was able to put that into his velocity when needed. It was great to see how well he could control that velocity and utilize touch when needed too. Every time Zach dropped back I was expecting a big play and every time he delivered. Good luck to you Zach in your pursuit of baseball at the next level!

Another exciting dual threat athlete is Zach Rizzo Zach Rizzo 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB St. Joseph Catholic Academy | 2026 State WI . On the ground the 6’4″ 225 lbs athlete is a force to be reckoned with. He can get the edge and up the sideline for big plays. Rizzo will also not hesitate to lower the shoulder and punish defenders with his big frame and power. Zach is one of the more raw passers in this group, but the glimpses of next level excellence are there within that strong arm. As a QB coach gets a few years to mold his mechanics we could see the big man continue his development and end up as one of the best in this Class. Zach currently holds offers from Carthage and UW- Oshkosh.

Another top TD producer that we have to talk about in this article is St. Joseph’s Zach Rizzo Zach Rizzo 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB St. Joseph Catholic Academy | 2026 State WI . His 28 TDs were good enough for 11th in the state. He also finished 38th in passing yards with 1,913 yards. What might be even more impressive is the fact Zach only threw 2 INTs over 13 games and completed 6% of his passes. The junior has the size for the position, the arm strength for the position, and the smart decision making to win at the position. Zach does a great job of protecting the ball while still producing electric plays for his team. Along with the great ball protection, Zach still managed to average just shy of 9 yds/att. Being smart with the ball while still being aggressive with the ball is hard to find. Get your eyes on the talented junior.

Similar to the LBs in this Class, QB is another extremely loaded group. The junior has great size and strength packed in the 6’4″ 225 lbs frame. As you can see on the tape, Zach has a high level of arm strength. The kid will barely have his feet set at time while facing pressure in his face and rip it 40 yards downfield to a receiver. Rizzo doesn’t just grip it and rip it every snap, though. He understands when he needs to take some off and use touch to drop it in a bucket to his receiver. The rising junior also has the required accuracy. He does well with where he puts it on his man so they can instantly make a play after the catch while not putting the ball at risk. The All State QB is poised for a big season in 2025.

This camp was also a great opportunity to get some first impressions on athletes that we haven’t seen live until this point. By the end of the camp it was clear that he is an athlete with a very high ceiling and a lot of tools to work with and develop to reach that potential. Rizzo has the big, strong frame needed to play at a higher level. He looked every bit of his listed 6’4″ 225 lbs. Zach also possesses the arm strength to match that big frame. He didn’t miss a chance to show off his ability to deliver the ball on a line 10, 20, 30+ yards downfield. The ’26 also looks comfortable getting out on the move while still delivering accurate passes.

What has me so excited is the room for growth and development. When it all comes together from his feet to his hips to his throwing motion, Zach has the arm talent to be up there with the best in this Class. I’m excited to see him continue to fine tune his lower body mechanics because as they become more and more consistent we are going to see a massive jump in his play on the field. This is a kid that coaches are definitely going to want to build a relationship with and keep a close eye on. Zach is a high ceiling recruit.
