We have long been a fan of his athleticism and that side of his game. Trent has a good feel in the pocket and knows when to buy time or when to keep it himself. He definitely has the speed and playmaking abilities on the ground to change the game. Where things changed was with his passing. While watching through his summer clips and going back to his junior season it was clear that the arm talent is there in spades. The 6′ 200 lbs athlete has the ability to generate so much velocity through his lower body mechanics so he can fire the ball to every level of the field on a rope. He also is accurate with his ball placement. The 2027 QB should be loading up for a big final season. Trent is the #1 uncommitted QB in the Class of 2027.

When I watch Trent on tape I get the feeling that the play is never over if he still has the ball. His combination of athleticism and arm talent gives the 2027 QB the ability to keep the play alive while things are breaking down around him. The incoming senior can get the ball out off platform and from untraditional arm angles. He keeps his eyes downfield while buying time, and when it is designed or time to tuck it and go he has the ability to flip a switch and turn into an RB instead of a QB. Trent has speed, is very agile, and can accelerate quickly. If Trent has the ball and the whistle hasn’t blown, defenses are at risk of letting up something big.

The 2027 QB has rolled into this offseason and put on a show where he was able to earn multiple D2 offers. Turn on the tape and you can’t question the arm talent. The ball jumps out of his hand with velocity and pinpoint accuracy. Heading into 2026 it looks like Trent will be welcoming and building connection with a lot of new receiving options, but his talent and his athleticism should keep defenses honest and give the new weapons time to get open. I’m very intrigued to see if Trent and the rest of the Panthers can build on their 2025 5-4 record.

We wrap up with one of the most exciting dual threat QBs in WI. A kid coming off a great summer that has his stock steadily rising in our eyes. With 1780+ passing yards, 850+ rushing yards, and a whole bunch of TDs, Trent is a walking highlight reel. As a passer Trent can rip the football to every level of the field. He has the mechanics to be able to maximize the potential velocity he can put into the football. Plus he has some very good command over where he places it. On the ground he is legitimate athlete. Someone who can beat angles with speed and shake defenders 1 on 1 in space. I am anxiously waiting to see the highlights this kid produces in his senior season!

Coming out of Stevens Point, Trent Breitbach Trent Breitbach 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB SPASH | 2027 State WI is looking like he will be our biggest riser among the QB position. I fully expect him to be well within the Top 200 with a great chance of also being Top 10 among QBs. Trent is a dangerous dual threat QB, and this summer he verified exactly how dangerous. He consistently ran in the low 4.5s in the 40, showing game-breaking speed that can legitimately beat pursuit angles deep downfield. He also has the quick twitch agility and elusiveness to make defenders miss in tight quarters. It is also evident that Trent has the arm talent to be able to play the position at the next level. He is quick with his throwing motion and release and the 2027 QB is able to generate velocity through his mechanics. It is also very noteworthy to see that he earned an offer after a 3 day camp with Duluth from the Bulldogs telling me they loved what they saw from him in that timeframe. He also has offers from Minot State, and UMary.

It took me a while to figure it out, but yes, 7G at the first North Dakota Flagship Camp of the summer was indeed 2027 SPASH QB Trent Breitbach. However, this QB was running with the wideouts in front of the Fighting Hawks, as well as seemingly 3/4 of the NSIC, up in Grand Forks. One of the best athletes in attendance, Breitbach produced a 4.51 and 4.53 to highlight his speed during testing, plus a 4.20 and 4.30 short-shuttle for good measure, and he was surprisingly dynamic and effective, yet unsurprisingly explosive, as a route running during 1v1s. He was burning some talented, athletic, and experienced DBs deep with ease, and his ability to track and play the ball in the air was more reminiscent of a seasoned wideout than a QB. Plus, he was bursting out of his breaks and separating at the top of the route with consistency. Talk about versatile!

This is a fun QB to watch! Trent spent 2025 showing off his talents as a dual threat athlete. Trent checks in at 6′ 200 lbs, and that RB build matches how he plays when he tucks the ball and runs. Trent plays with the instincts of an RB, picking through trash and setting up blocks. Then exploding through gaps and hitting that second gear into the open field. Plus he can run through arm tackles and gain yards after contact. As a passer the highlights are loaded with examples of his deep ball accuracy with him dropping it into receivers in stride. When you get deeper into the tape you see more of the window throws on short-intermediate throws where he still does great with his accuracy and timing. Trent is definitely a sleeper in this group. He has the tools to put together an impressive camp circuit.

This is a fun athlete to watch. Both on tape and in person, which I have been lucky enough to do in 2025. Trent is an electric athlete at QB. On the ground, Trent has really good vision running through traffic. He is quick to identify seams and blocks to set up. The junior is able to accelerate to top speed in a hurry and that top speed is able to beat angles downfield. Trent is a legitimate dual threat weapon. Through the air Trent has a live arm. He can push the ball deep downfield and drop the ball in a bucket. The junior is more raw as a passer compared to his dynamic rushing attack, but there are tools to work with that can carry to the next level. Definitely check out these highlights.

Trent spent his sophomore season as QB2 for SPASH. The second he got the chance he took QB1 and hasn’t looked back. Trent proved to be a dangerous dual threat QB, finishing 2025 with 1,786 passing yards, 854 rushing yards, and 34 total TDs. Trent carries the ball like an elusive RB, cutting and juking through traffic and showing off next level vision through that traffic. The open field speed is there too for the playmaker. The dual threat has a big arm too. The ball will jump out of his hand when he needs to hit a window or push it deep downfield. Trent has made the SPASH offense very explosive and it will be interesting to see how he performs this offseason leading into his final HS season.

It was an up and down night for the explosive athlete at QB for SPASH. Trent has dominated the first half of the season with his dual threat talents. While he didn’t go off in Week 5 we still saw the flashes of brilliance he can create. His TD came off an outstanding scramble to buy time while finding his man open downfield. It isn’t just raw speed either. Trent has the quick twitch agility to be a threat in traffic and one on one in space. I was looking forward to seeing what the arm looked like in person, and I came away happy with what I saw. Trent has that natural arm strength where he can get the ball to jump out of his hands when he needs it to get through a window instantly. I’m excited to watch him develop more as a passer over this next year. He has a very high potential ceiling. I’m excited to watch his career continue to play out.
