It is really no surprise to see Zeke on this list of athletes. Everywhere he plays the 2027 ATH delivers game-changing moments. He led Darlington to a dominant 14-0 season and State Championship as a junior while putting up elite numbers as a runner, passer, and DB. On defense you see the high football IQ, diagnosing plays quickly and then using that next level athleticism to always be in the right place at the right moment. In the end, Zeke hauled in 5 INTs, returned 1 for a score, and an additional 4 PBUs. This is a need to know athlete in the Class of 2027 here in WI.

. The junior is an electric dual threat athlete. Zeke delivered at such a high rate in every role he had. He was a super accurate passer. On the ground he carries the ball and attacks defenses like a talented RB. On defenses he flies around the secondary and shows a really high IQ as he diagnoses plays. The versatility is off the charts. It should be a big year for the 2027 between summer camps and this fall as they look to expand on their 14 game win streak at Darlington.

Rise: #162 up to #85
Zeke is coming off a dominant junior season that ended with an undefeated State Championship. The QB/ATH is an athlete who has the talent to line up all over the field. He is dangerous athlete at QB, giving his team an extra RB in the backfield essentially. He has the vision to pick through the front seven and then has that second gear to rip off the big chunk plays or TD runs. Zeke does a great job with his decision making on read options too. He always puts the defense in bad position to make plays. The 2027 is so explosive that he also returns kicks for Darlington and has made plenty of big plays in that role too. Zeke is even putting in time in the offseason working on his passing skills to make himself even more complete and dangerous as a QB. The versatility, talent, and production can’t be denied with this kid.

. A leap that led to great team success and an eventual undefeated State Championship. Zeke went from 1500 total yards to 2,600+ total yards and 40 TDs. Zeke is a game breaking dual threat athlete. He runs the ball with all the top tier traits of an RB and then can drop back and be a 73% completion percentage passer. He is a QB that forces a defense to guard the entire field. A difficult task for the small school levels. And then on defense the junior will be all over the field with that same physicality and high football IQ. I can’t wait to see what he is recruited as over this next year.

. The passing was minimal, and that is because the rushing attack was so lethal for Darlington. Zeke was a huge contributor to that success. He carries the ball like an RB, showing great vision and acceleration through the gap. Plus the junior is so physically strong that he was able to consistently break arm tackles and end plays falling forward. The 2027 did a great job with his decision making on top of that, knowing when to keep it himself and when to let his backfield mates eat. Zeke has made a massive jump over this past year and is quickly becoming one of the better athletes in the Class of 2027. He is going to be a big riser in the rankings update.

continues to step up and make huge plays for his offense through these playoffs. In Level 4 we saw him lead the way on the ground and provide big spark plays through the air. The tape starts off with a flex of the arm strength as he completes the Hail Mary to end the half. His 2nd TD pass showed off the touch as he dropped a dime in the bucket to his target in the endzone. Zeke is a high quality athlete on top of being a natural passer. The playmaker demonstrated the range and closing speed on his INT at safety. Easily covering ground and attacking the ball. As a ball carrier Zeke looks impressively natural. Vision, acceleration, and instincts help him quickly get through the front seven or around the edge and then that second gear kills defenses. The junior is an intriguing dual threat and multi-positional recruit. He is working his way into becoming a need to know athlete in the Class of 2027.

Zeke is such an advantage for Darlington. He handles QB duties very effectively, but he is his most dangerous when utilizing his athleticism. Athleticism that is so dangerous and explosive that it actually has led to him being a kick returner. Not something you see many QBs do. All the impact as a runner hasn’t stopped the 2027 from developing as a passer. He is accurate, utilizes touch and velocity at appropriate times, and pushed the ball into the three different levels of the field. The Darlington product is a game-changer. Check out the highlights from the week.

Zeke has been putting on a show week in and week out. The junior is a dynamic dual threat QB. Watching through just this week’s highlights you get a feel for how much of a playmaker Zeke is. Running the option he made an elite fake that had the defender running the wrong way as he kept it underneath for a chunk. Zeke is piling up experience quickly and making him even better at knowing when to pull and when to pitch. The junior is a tough runner too. He moves the pile and fights for yards. The junior also serves as safety for Darlington too. Further showing off his athleticism and football IQ. The small school stud is a name to know in the junior class.
