A lot of Calum’s offensive highlights usually feature a wake of broken tackles and defenders on the ground. Calum has a powerful lower body that never seems to quit or slow down when he has the ball. You also see the strong upper body can could rip through arm tackles and regain balance in those moments. This is a 2027 that brings the violence to the defense.

Calum is a force playing two ways for Darlington. The kid thrives in scenarios where he can let his powerful 6′ 210 lbs frame do the dirty work. As a junior Calum earned All State honors at RB and LB while also bringing home a State Championship. That old school power and contact balance are supported by the athleticism needed to either break off the long carry or flow sideline to sideline at LB. The physically dominant 2027 is only going to continue to rise up our boards. Make sure he is on all of yours.

One of my favorite performances came from Calum. He was a beast on both sides of the ball. He has such an overwhelmingly strong build. He is built like a brick wall and hits like one too. On both sides of the ball. On offense Calum ran through defenders, wearing down the interior, and piling up yards after contact. On defense he played just as physical, but also proved that he has the required speed to play LB at the next level. I’m very excited to see how he continues to grow and how his game develops over the offseason. Calum is an athlete to know.

Calum is a force on defense. He is 2nd on the team with 60 tackles and adds 10 TFLs, 3 sacks. The LB is all over the field corralling the opposing run game. However, the reason he is an X factor is because of what they will need from him on offense. This Edgar defense has proven to be stout, so Darlington will need the 200+ lbs athlete to wear down the middle of this defense. He can do it with his angry running style and powerful contact balance. If Calum delivers like he could we could see him in the running for MVP of this game if they pull off the victory.
