We have a quick-hitting feature for Trench Talk Thursday. I turned the spotlight to our Class of 2029 OL recruits. We have a handful of athletes in today's article with a mix of currently ranked athletes and athletes who I will be including later this summer. It is never too early to learn the names and game changers of tomorrow. So let's hit the tape on these five standout 2029 OL that coaches should add to their growing list of 2029s.

Camden has made the move from Ashwaubenon High School to Bay Port High School. Meaning the 2029 should be next up in a long line of impressive offensive linemen to come out of the Pirates program. Camden already looks the part at 6'1" 275 lbs and did really well anchoring the OL from the center position. In pass protection the big man can be light on his feet, easily roaming laterally and providing forceful assistance to his guards. In the run game you get a great sense of his quickly developing strength as he can get that push to drive DL out of gaps. Very excited to watch his development and growth over the coming years.

Racine Case has an astounding amount of talent and depth across their roster. So for a freshman to earn significant playing time, that is very noteworthy itself. That is what OG [player_tooltip player_id='2124836' first='Anthony' last='Anzalone'] did last season for the Eagles. As the tape rolls you see why he got his shot. AJ has a frame that is loaded with power and built on quick feet. Anthony is quick out of his stance and to the spot that gives him the leverage advantage. He also has that nasty mentality to not just move men but finish his block with violence. As Anzalone continues to grow and get stronger we are going to see him produce some outstanding film.

I'm now seeing Bryce listed at 6' 255 lbs, so he is definitely growing into the position. I'm really liking the first year of film from the freshman. Over and over you see the initial power and leg drive to create a huge surge. A surge that also shows off his athleticism because a lot of reps have Bryce running his DL 5+ yards off the line. The freshman has a solid base of athleticism to his game overall too. You see that he can pull or attack level two or make square blocks on moving targets. As he continues to add strength and grow into his frame we could be lining up for Bryce to have a big breakout sophomore season. Check out his freshman highlights.

Next up we head way up north for an impressive freshman OL out of Northland Pines High School in Eagle River, WI. Chase is going to do well when added into the rankings. He has a frame with length and room to continue to fill out into that college size. The '29 is already earning varsity experience too. Despite being only a freshman, Chase was able to impose his will and drive DL off the line of scrimmage to open up running lanes. Another big reason the '29 OL earned varsity action is because he has the athleticism to be able to move within the trenches effectively. Don't overlook the northern WI freshman OT.

The newest 2029 OL on my radar is Kettle Moraine center/guard Carter Warner. The 5'11" 240 lbs freshman wins with quickness and body positioning. Carter is able to get to his spot and get between the ball and the defender to wall them off. That foot quickness also allows him to double team and peel off to pick up an LB. Carter is just scratching the surface on his power. His frame has so much room to add that bulk and muscle that will set the tone in the trenches on a Friday night. It will be fun to watch the 2029 develop over the coming years.
