We start with one of the best northern WI athletes in the 2029 Class. Northland Pines’ OL Chase Seeger is a 6’4″ 235 lbs OT who was the team’s varsity OT as a freshman. Even as a freshman, Chase was able to flex his power within the trenches in the run game. He pairs his raw power with a quickness out of his stance. That momentum on contact helps him get that initial surge. Then his leg drive further resets the line of scrimmage downfield in the run game. Chase’s mobility and flexibility are very well developed and allow the big man to move and win the leverage battle while doing so. The 2029 also shows off that violent side as he finishes a lot of his blocks with pancakes. Don’t miss out on the northern WI product.

. He’s got solid size at his age as the 6’4 235 pounder was one that was intriguing off our intial eye test from camp for his age and size. He’s got plenty of time to untap his upside with his footwork in pass-pro, but surely looked more comfortable at the given moment as a run-blocker in the reps I took in on Chase. The first step Chase showed off is also a skillset that I feel has taken a step forward as far as foot speed since his freshmen year ended. Surely one of the Northwoods that I’ll have to continue to track his progress with three more football seasons coming under his belt and while already getting varsity action as a freshmen.

Next up we head way up north for an impressive freshman OL out of Northland Pines High School in Eagle River, WI. Chase is going to do well when added into the rankings. He has a frame with length and room to continue to fill out into that college size. The ’29 is already earning varsity experience too. Despite being only a freshman, Chase was able to impose his will and drive DL off the line of scrimmage to open up running lanes. Another big reason the ’29 OL earned varsity action is because he has the athleticism to be able to move within the trenches effectively. Don’t overlook the northern WI freshman OT.
