is a must include in this article. He is by far the most well rounded athlete at the position here in WI. Meaning that he checks the power box. Even at 185-190 lbs Kingston has proven that he can run through arm tackles unphased, lower a shoulder and churn his legs through and over a defender, and do it while keeping his balance and coming out the other side ready to pick up more yards after contact. Badgers fans should be very excited to watch what Kingston produces in his final year of high school ball before heading over to Madison next year.

. The junior took over the RB1 role this season and left absolutely no doubt that he is the best RB in WI. Size, power, speed come together in this 6’1′ 185 lbs package. It is so impressive watching this kid run the ball. He runs so strong, like an RB much bigger than him. But then he also has legit 4.5 speed to beat every angle on the field. His vision and patience behind the line made him even more of a nightmare to slow down because you couldn’t get a gang of defenders there to bring him down early in the play. I am anxious to see what his encore performance is this fall as a senior.

. What Kingston did as a junior will not be forgotten for a long time. His massive workload gave him so many chances to let his elite traits do the talking on the field. The junior has elite contact balance and excellent power that punishes defenders at the point of contact. His second gear in space quickly erases pursuit angles. Kingston is one of those athletes who gets stronger as the game goes on. While he is much lighter, it was hard to not see similarities in how he carries the ball to Braelon Allen. We are in for a special senior season from the 2027 RB1.

Every week that Kingston takes the field is a week where he could rewrite the state’s record books. He has elite physical gifts from the quick twitch athleticism and elusive agility to punishing defenders with his power. That night vs Greenfield we saw his full arsenal of abilities. The Co-Offensive Player of the Year for Large Schools by the WFCA put together an elite stat line in the D2 Championship game. The team would come up short, but Kingston did everything he could to keep things close. The junior RB verified his elite traits on the biggest stage. He runs very powerful with a strong leg drive and a low center of gravity. As he continues to fill out his frame that power is going to become even more impactful. We got a few glimpses of that second gear when he got around the edge and his vision was on display essentially every snap as he patiently waited for lanes to open and then attacked them. The 2027 RB is no doubt a Power 4 RB recruit and should have more offers joining Wisconsin and Northwestern.

This was supposed to be a big test for Kingston and Notre Dame’s offense/defense. Safe to say they passed it with flying colors as they secured a trip back to Madison. Watching these highlights only continue my massive fandom of the junior RB. The vision to find the holes and the way he instantly had a plan of how to attack every scenario during a carry was elite. Whether it was lower the shoulder, or spin, or juke, or beat the angle with speed, it seemed like Kingston never had to slow down. He could read and attack without sacrificing speed. The 2027 RB is one of the best players in the state and his OL is dominating. It is a dangerous combo that I can’t wait to watch live in a few days.

. The matchup with Rice Lake was definitely the toughest game of the season for this team, but Allen and his OL were up for the challenge. Allen plays with that elite Power 4 blend of athleticism and power. He is always loaded up to run through a tackle attempt, but at the same time is playing at a speed that can always get the edge and beat angles. The junior is an impressive playmaker with the ball in his hands. I’m pumped that we get to continue to watch this historic season unfold for another week.
