I absolutely love the balance of power and speed that Deven plays with. This week’s highlights show him using both on every big play. Deven has a special ability to run through a tackle attempt then within a stride or two he is at full speed running away from everyone. We don’t often see a kid who can do the dirty work and turn that into huge runs after contact. But that is what the senior from Plymouth can do. The senior RB out of Plymouth is proving week after week that he is a very well rounded prospect. The 5’11” 180 lbs back thrives at gaining yards before contact and creating space from defenders to maximize the yards he earns before taking hits. His week 4 highlights show his patience behind the line, and also in traffic at the second level. That patience would suddenly open things up and from there his acceleration created long run after long run. Deven is an impressive athlete who is showing he knows how to use it to make plays. Another strong combine performance and a junior to get onto your radars today is Deven Miller Deven Miller 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB/LB Plymouth Comprehensive | 2026 State WI out of Plymouth. The 5’10” 168 lbs junior ran blazing 4.59 and 4.53 in the 40, 4.25 in the shuttle, 7.19 in the L-Drill, and broad jumped 9’2″. On the field in one on ones we saw how much of a mismatch those numbers helped him become. Deven was able to accelerate extremely fast to open up big cushions from LBs. He also did really well going and getting the football with strong hands. Earlier in the month the athlete set his school record with a 10.88 100M dash. Deven is an explosive mismatch that needs more eyes on him.
