Rankings Rise: 55 Up to 39
The Class of 2026 QBs has been as good as we were hyping up back in the spring. One of the biggest risers from the group has been
Bryce Ott

of Oshkosh North. Ott has been working on his craft and in return we have seen an improvement in the speed and efficiency of his throwing motion and release. The ball comes out quick and consistently. That leads to pinpoint accuracy on a very high % of his throws. It has also been impressive watching how well his feet are tied to his eyes while standing at 6’6”. Even with the elite frame Bryce is efficient in his movements and has the arm strength to make throws necessary on a D1 field. This season is going to be a fun one as he returns his top target and his RB1.

. Size, arm talent, and production come together and could produce an outstanding senior season. He returns with his top target, RB1, and multiple OL to protect him. Look for this offense to be clicking early and often.

I have been able to see Bryce throw a few times scattered across the offseason timeline. The dude is progressing really well this offseason. The ball is coming out quick and jumps off his hand. It is holding its velocity to the target with no wasted air under the ball when he needs it there in a hurry. He is so technically sound, getting the ball out with a very smooth and quick throwing motion. Ott has done very well putting himself in position to push up the QB rankings potentially. He holds a D1 offer from Western Illinois along with an offer from D2 Upper Iowa. Bryce also holds a few offers for basketball as well. A legitimate dual sport standout.

Bryce absolutely tore up the Mega Camp. He checked in at an awesome 6’7″ 203.5 lbs. He also did well in the combine, running a 4.47 shuttle, and jumping 31.3″ in the vertical. But it was that right arm that I was looking forward to seeing in action again. I have said it before, but I love the quick release Ott has. Like cracking a whip, the ball is instantly out of his hands in a tight spiral. His command over his touch, velocity, and pinpoint accuracy were all on point all day long. Getting to stand behind him and listen and watch the ball leave his hand was impressive. The ’26 has quick feet and hips and his overall full body mechanics while throwing the ball are so in sync. He has really improved from an already good QB back in 2024.

. Bryce finished 26th overall in passing yards despite only playing in 9 games. His 2,088 yards over 9 games put him inside the Top 10 in yards per game with 232 yds/game. If he wouldn’t have missed a game Bryce would have been inside the Top 15 in total passing yds. The junior is more than just a number producer too. He is a legitimate next level recruit with size, accuracy, touch, and arm strength. I can’t wait for him to get out to camps this summer and really start turning heads in front of coaches. His time is coming.

It was great to see Bryce in person a couple months after first watching him at the UW- Eau Claire event. With basketball season wrapped up for him it is clear that the 2026 QB is putting in the work on his QB play. I’m so impressed watching the 6’6″ 195 lbs junior throw. With his long frame and limbs you have to wonder if that will slow down the release, but with Bryce that is far from a concern. The ’26 has a consistent, quick, compact throwing motion that can get the ball out in a fraction of a second. Matching the impressive release, Bryce’s footwork also shined throughout the day. The junior was quick to get his feet set and throw and didn’t have any issues overstriding when on the move or resetting after moving out of the pocket. Ott has a great frame, smooth and efficient mechanics, and an arm that can get the ball everywhere on the field with the velocity required. He is one of the top prospect in the best QB group I have seen.

of Oshkosh North. The 6’6″ 195 lbs QB is always one of the biggest athletes on the field, but don’t let that fool you. Bryce has effective mobility to his game. He can slide and move in the pocket to buy time or break cotain. What impresses most is the arm, though. His film is loaded up with him making the 40+ yard pass and they all come out with high quality velocity whether his feet are planted or if he is on the move. The ball jumps out of his hand so effortlessly. Bryce always seems to be in command of where he puts the ball too. It seems like he understands leverage and where his man needs it for the best chance at a reception. This QB group is loaded up and near the top leading the way is the Oshkosh North signal caller.
