<p><strong>#4 Belvidere North at #1 Cary Grove</strong></p>

<p>Cary Grove is looking at East St. Louis across the bracket, but first they have to get by a solid Belvidere North squad. For Cary Grove their highest ranked prospect is the tank [player_tooltip player_id='401622' first='Logan' last='Abrams'] as 6'3” 230 pounds. Watch list running back [player_tooltip player_id='331570' first='Hayden' last='Dieschbourg'] is another to check out for Cary Grove.</p>

<p><strong>#3 Geneva at #7 Lake Forest</strong></p>

<p>Higher seeded Geneva will go on the road after Lake Forest recorded a massive win. Geneva is led by the #1 wide receiver in the senior class in Georgia commit [player_tooltip player_id='278883' first='Talyn' last='Taylor'] who is an absolute game changer. Throwing him the ball is quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='252482' first='Tony' last='Chahino']. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='236883' first='Gavin' last='Burt'] along with running backs [player_tooltip player_id='252511' first='Troy' last='Velez'] and [player_tooltip player_id='330457' first='Michael' last='Rumoro'] are ranked prospects in the senior class. The top back in the junior class is featured for Geneva in [player_tooltip player_id='801711' first='Dominic' last='Dileonardi']. Wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='801707' first='Dylan' last='Reyes'] and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='802037' first='Tyler' last='Drake'] are juniors to watch as well in the 2026 class. Yale lacrosse commit [player_tooltip player_id='819668' first='Daniel' last='Van Camp'] led them to an epic win in the 2<sup>nd</sup> round at quarterback. Their other ranked seniors include athlete [player_tooltip player_id='835152' first='Nathan' last='Williams'], defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='278889' first='Finn' last='Goodman'], offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1166050' first='Arjan' last='Jawanda'], and [player_tooltip player_id='819690' first='Timotei' last='Dan']. They also have a highly ranked sophomore defensive lineman in George Hollard who checks in at #13 overall in that class.</p>

<p><strong>#1 East St. Louis at #5 Chatham Glenwood</strong></p>

<p>The state title favorite and perhaps the most talented roster in the state will travel on the road for the first time this post season as they will go to Chatham Glenwood for the quarterfinals. Their defense has stars all over the field led by safety [player_tooltip player_id='176242' first='Charles' last='Bass'] who is headed to Mizzou. Grambling commit [player_tooltip player_id='188603' first='Mekhi' last='Mixon'] is another game changer on the back end. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='179189' first='Keylan' last='LaGrant'] and defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='830840' first='Ke'Andre' last='McClendon'] are top 40 seniors uncommitted. Junior standouts defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='401599' first='Carnell' last='McIntosh'] and [player_tooltip player_id='401621' first='Leon' last='Howard'] are both coveted 2026 prospects. On the offensive side quarterback duo of senior [player_tooltip player_id='831102' first='Kendrick' last='Lyons'] and Reece Shanklin are two of the best regardless of class in the metro east. They feature a pair of running backs in [player_tooltip player_id='278888' first='TaRyan' last='Martin'] who is headed to Kent State along with Lindenwood bound running back [player_tooltip player_id='179193' first='Larevious' last='Woods']. Trio of young pass catchers in 2027 are key parts in Laron Baker Jr, [player_tooltip player_id='1335411' first='Ronnie' last='Gomiller'], and [player_tooltip player_id='419226' first='Royce' last='Searcy']. For Glenwood the prospect to track closely is wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='278890' first='Gavin' last='Simmons']. The #86 overall prospect is their go to option.</p>

<p><strong>#3 Kankakee at #2 Richards</strong></p>

<p>Nice south suburbs contest here with Kankakee traveling to Richards. For Kankakee Eastern Illinois commit [player_tooltip player_id='471479' first='Kennyan' last='Chandler'] is a top 50 prospect in the state. Pair of other senior defenders we like are defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1292174' first='Zyon' last='Turner'] and defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1292196' first='Elijah' last='Faulkner']. Richards running back [player_tooltip player_id='331455' first='Myles' last='Mitchell'] is a 5'10” back who checks in as the 6<sup>th</sup> highest ranked running back in the senior class. Couple of watch list senior defenders in DB Semus Doyle and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='331465' first='Chase' last='Dryier']. Their highest ranked prospect is the 2<sup>nd</sup> highest ranked defensive back in 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='801706' first='Ahmad' last='Buchanan']. Young players include [player_tooltip player_id='1334119' first='Ladarrius' last='Foster'] as a 5'9” running back and [player_tooltip player_id='1334144' first='Kam'ron' last='Norwood'] at defensive line in the 2027 class.</p>
