Chandler is a 6’1, 220 lbs linebacker out of Kankakee. While he can certainly play on the edge, Chandler shined most as an off-ball, middle linebacker who owned the middle of the field for the Kays. In the run game, Chandler is a highly instinctual player who takes run-throughs in the blink of an eye. He is an extremely physical tackler who plays with patience and poise. He runs incredibly well, which translates to his pass coverage also. When all was said and done after his junior campaign, Chandler tallied 85 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 6 sacks, and 1 interception. As this rising star’s recruitment is beginning to heat up, Chandler is a can’t miss prospect who is set to dominate in his senior season.
Chandler possesses all the attributes that elite linebackers have. In his sophomore campaign, the 6’1, 220 lbs linebacker showed off the physicality, athleticism, and ball skills that put his name on the map. Chandler hails from Kankakee and has the natural ability to take the ball away. He has a great frame and runs extremely well. Chandler is a strong tackler who plays with low pad level. He is not afraid to get downhill and meet ball carriers at the point of attack. These raw skills will only get better as time goes on. Heading into his junior season, Chandler’s stock continues to climb.

Kankakee | 2025 StateIL posted an impressive sophomore stat line of 113 total tackles, 26 TFLs (!), 4 FFs, and 2 INTs last fall and did so in bone-crunching fashion from his middle linebacker spot. Chandler seeks out contact and knows what to do when he gets there, as he’s another standout on this list who does a great job of running his feet through a tackle and uses his massive size and noticeable strength to halt ball carriers where they stand and force them backwards for 5-10 yards in dominant fashion. You can see opposing RBs and WRs whiplash when he hits them, as well as freeze and become unable to resist just from the sheer force of Chandler’s pop in the hole. If he catches you off-guard or not looking, you’re also liable to go flying 5 yards back and hard off the turf, and I could watch him meet RBs in the hole all day, every day. He’s got some serious strength and physical expertise going into his upperclassman campaign. Don’t get in his way.
