Taylor, another highly recruited wide receiver prospect, is off and running this season. While Geneva has a 5 and 0 record, Taylor has 472 receiving yards and 6 TDs on the year. Taylor’s best asset is his elusiveness, as the 6’1 junior wins in every way. He is difficult to guard in man-to-man, as he has a quick release off the line and the speed to take over. Taylor is often double teamed, however, Geneva continues to find ways to get him the ball. And once the ball is in his hands, Taylor almost always makes the first and second tacklers miss. Expect Taylor to shine the rest of the season.

It won’t be hard to find Taylor in Friday’s matchup, as the receiver is one of the best in the country. The junior playmaker possesses all the traits a modern day wide out needs, including route running, hands, top-end speed, shiftiness, and football IQ. Taylor’s athleticism makes him a home run threat on every play, but what makes him so difficult to stop is that he can beat you in a variety of ways. He currently holds offers from some of the top programs in the country, including Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, and more. Look for Taylor to ball out in perhaps the biggest game of the regular season.

It’s no surprise that one of the nation’s top wide receivers had a strong opening night, as Taylor totaled 134 yards and a touchdown in Geneva’s 35-0 win over Metea Valley. 80 of those yards came on a bubble screen, as Taylor was able to break multiple tackles, regain his balance, and show off his blazing speed on the way to the end zone.. Taylor was nearly impossible to tackle all of Friday, as his yards after the catch were impressive on all 5 of his receptions. Taylor is poised for a massive junior season as he continues to see Power 5 offers roll in.

Taylor is one of the top wide receivers in the state, and he has yet to play his junior season. As far as the class of 2025 goes, Taylor should be considered a top wide receiver in the country. The Geneva stand out is built in the mold of the modern day wide receiver. With a similar build and playing style to guys like Jamar Chase or Chris Olave, there really isn’t anything that Taylor can’t do. He is as smooth a route runner as you’ll find. He has soft hands and elite speed that makes him a vertical threat at all times. With the ball in his hands, Taylor is shifty and showcases elite vision. Heading into his junior year, Taylor holds offers from Alabama, USC, and Georgia, with many more to come.
