Woods is looking to cement his legacy at East Side this year as a senior leader. With a couple of State Championship appearances and a ring to show for his efforts, Larevious is not satisfied and wants to raise the bar on the way out. He is built like a traditional pro style bell cow who can carry whatever load you try to place on his powerful lower half. Bouncing off tackles, juking at the point of contact, or outrunning defenders on the perimeter, are all ways Woods has proven he’s a guy. Last year he was responsible for reaching pay dirt 20 times averaging 7 yards per carry. Right now he holds an offer from Kent St. and I look to see his stock go up over the summer.

Woods is an explosive play maker out of East St. Louis. The Class of 2025 tailback burst onto the scene this season, tallying 1,123 all purpose yards and crossing the goal line 23 times. Woods has a unique combination of speed and strength, as he runs with a low center of gravity and rarely, if ever, goes down on first contact. The 5’9, 195 lbs running back glides with a powerful base and will drive through any arm tackle at the line of scrimmage. And once he hits the edge or the third level, good luck catching Woods. As a rising star in the Land of Lincoln, Woods will be back for more next season.

The title of Woods’ highlight video is Man Amongst Boys. That is a very good summary of what you see. Larevious is a punishing runner. Tacklers seem to bounce right off him when they try to lower the shoulder. The low center of gravity that he plays with seems to be inches off the ground because we don’t see Larevious get knocked off balance very often. He lives behind his pads and runs his feet through contact so well. Teams looking for a physical back need to check this junior out. Check out the exciting film.

was an easy choice to add to the mix from the PRzIL 2025 class of thumpers. With an ideally compact frame for dishing out contact at 5’9, 195 lbs., Woods has a helluva truck stick attached to his pads and can knock opponents over like a bowling ball over pins while remaining upright and sending defending off into the turf violently and suddenly. Woods can create so much impact force that would-be tacklers get turned a full 180 or even 360 degrees, crumples them like they’re in a compacter, or got a cartoon piano dropped from above. Get out of his way! There’s a Ford F150 on the ESL Flyers roster. Check out the film if you don’t believe me –> https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17761158/639002bfe97ad306a82c0644
