The highest-ranked 2026 prospect who will be in attendance at the combine is Hurricane running back Kylan Grace Kylan Grace 5’10” | 200 lbs | RB Hurricane | 2026 State WV . Grace has been thought of highly by us since our 2026 rankings debuted in the summer of 2023 and is currently considered a Top 15 prospect and the #2 RB in his class at this juncture. He had a strong sophomore season for the Redskins last season even with the emergence of 2025 QB/ATH Noah Vellaithambi Noah Vellaithambi 5’11” | 205 lbs | ATH Hurricane | 2025 State WV who became their bell cow at running back in 2023. Grace still managed to rush for 500 yards and 8 touchdowns as their #2 option but is poised to have a true breakout season in 2024 as a junior and should be their go-to guy at that position. Our question for him heading into the combine is how well will he test and how polished of a pass catcher is he as a RB prospect? Camps are always tough for running backs without there being contact or being able to truly run the ball. If he can prove he has that versatility to add to his running game, Grace can further cement himself as one of the top prospects in the 2026 class.
Highlights
Winfield 2026 receiver Aiden Hernandez Aiden Hernandez 6’1″ | 175 lbs | WR Winfield | 2026 State WV is an exciting prospect for the Generals who could raise his stock even further than his Top 25 ranking. He should emerge as one of the best pass catchers at the combine and is an athlete who could put up some highly impressive testing numbers. We believe Hernandez is a D1-level prospect and can prove as much with a strong performance. That is the biggest question we have for him that we want to be answered while getting to see him in person for the first time. An impressive performance by him could see his ranking get a bump in the summer update and begin to flirt with a Top 15 ranking. If you aren’t familiar with this young man heading into the combine, you surely will after it’s finished.
The 2026 offensive line class is looking like it could be the best position group in this class and will have several of the current top-ranked big men in attendance at the combine which includes our highest-ranked OL set to attend in North Marion’s Logan Gump Logan Gump 6’2″ | 260 lbs | OL North Marion | 2026 State WV . The 6’2 260 rising junior ranks inside of our Top 10 of said OL group, and we are expecting big things from him at the combine and beyond. His combination of athleticism and physicality should put him at the top of the offensive linemen performers at the event and will be in contention for OL MVP honors. Our question for Gump heading into the combine is how well will he test and will that combination translate to a camp setting? If Gump can answer both of those questions, he can further back up his lofty early ranking.
Doddridge County 2026 WR Landon Thomas Landon Thomas 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Doddridge County | 2026 State WV has been a consistent Top 10 receiver in our rankings since they first debuted last summer. Thomas had a productive sophomore season for the Bulldogs catching 27 passes for 500 yards and 7 touchdowns while earning WVSWA Class A Honorable Mention All-State honors. He made a nice jump from his freshman to sophomore season, and it will be great to finally get to see him in person to get further proof of the high ceiling we believe he has. Our question for Thomas at the combine is will his testing numbers match his size and ability he’s shown on the field? If he has the raw athleticism to pair with his other traits that we like a lot, Thomas could cement himself as a rare Top 50 player from a small school and could potentially climb even higher depending on his performance at the combine.

The combine will be a big opportunity for Musselman’s Blake Sanders Blake Sanders 5’10” | 165 lbs | RB Spring Mills | 2026 State WV to show what he’s capable of. Sanders currently ranks as a Top 10 running back in the 2026 class, but he has some stiff competition to maintain those high honors. Size is the big question for him as he grows into his frame which will raise his ceiling the more he does. Getting his measurements and testing numbers confirmed will be a big help in determining what his ceiling can be which we believe can be high given his ranking. Our eyes will also be on him during 1-on-1s for how he performs as a pass catcher and potentially as a DB which he is also capable of doing. A move to the defensive side of the ball is possible down the road in our rankings, but for now, Sanders should be one of the top running backs at the combine.
Ranked as an ATH, Jefferson’s Jackson Rockwell Jackson Rockwell 6’0″ | 160 lbs | ATH Jefferson | 2026 State WV will give us a better idea of which position he fits best as a prospect during the combine. Rockwell was a Second Team All-EPAC WR performer as a sophomore in a very talented conference but also has DB versatility and even some quarterback. WR or DB is where we like him the most right now, and he’ll likely see reps at both at the camp. That will be the biggest question we have for Rockwell is which position is his best and how well will he test in the combine drills. Versatility is always great to have though and Rockwell may just stick at ATH where he currently ranks inside the Top 5 for the 2026 class.

Another exciting 2026 offensive lineman set to attend the combine is Herbert Hoover’s Mighty Lopez Mighty Lopez 6’1″ | 275 lbs | OL Herbert Hoover | 2026 State WV . Lopez just debuted in our 2026 rankings as a Top 15 OL in the class and could climb even higher with a strong combine performance. We’ll be looking for Lopez to showcase his wrestling background as an offensive lineman, which he did on film, and we want to see the physicality, upper-body strength, and leverage technique translate to a camp setting in 1-on-1s. Our question for him heading into the combine is will he have the athleticism and footwork to pair with those other traits? If he can prove as such, Lopez can show he’s a complete offensive line prospect and be thought of even more highly than he already is.
Martinsburg’s Kane Whipp Kane Whipp 6’0″ | 245 lbs | OL Martinsburg | 2026 State WV is another talented 2026 offensive lineman who will put his talents on display at the combine. Whipp rounds out our 2026 OL Top 15 at this point but will have some stiff competition at the combine and beyond to maintain those honors. Our question for him that we want to be answered at the combine will be getting his measurements confirmed, and can he hold up against bigger bodies as he showed on his sophomore highlight tape? Size is the main area that’s a work in progress for him but has a lot of other tools and traits that placed him inside the Top 15 for his position. The combine will give us a great gauge of whether Whipp can secure a starting spot at his new school in state power Martinsburg which we believe he’s capable of.
Highlights
Jefferson 2026 offensive lineman Silas Speet Silas Speet 6’1″ | 250 lbs | OL Jefferson | 2026 State WV just missed our OL Top 15 but could see himself there in the summer rankings update with a very good combine performance. We liked what we saw in his sophomore highlight tape and showed he has some strong building blocks to build on over the next two years. The biggest question we have for Speet that we want him to answer at the combine is can he be equally as impressive in 1-on-1 blocking in a pass rush scenario as he was when run blocking last season? Most linemen, especially younger ones, are typically ahead of the game in run block, but Speet can prove he’s capable and talented at both during that portion of the camp. He showed flashes of executing both on film, but this will allow us to see it live and up close in person to really see what he’s able to do.
Highlights
2026 offensive lineman Jordan Kovacs Jordan Kovacs 5’11” | 230 lbs | OL Martinsburg | 2026 State WV is another former Musselman lineman who will be making the transition to state power Martinsburg, and the combine will give us a better idea of how quickly he can see the field at a school of their caliber. Kovacs had a limited sample size of sophomore highlights available, so we took a chance on him when placing him inside of our 2026 Top 100 but will get to see if he can confirm those honors at the combine. The two main questions we have for him heading into the event are what will his measurements be, and can he hold up against some bigger linemen in 1-on-1s? Progression in size will be his biggest need over the next two years, but Kovacs can still prove he can overcome those questions with a strong camp performance.
Highlights
Linsly 2026 WR Lucca Troullos Lucca Troullos 5’10” | 140 lbs | WR Linsly | 2026 State WV showed flashes of developing into a very good receiver for the Cadets last season by the time he’s a senior, and we want to see that continued development at the combine. His best football is ahead of him, but getting to see him up close in person will give us a better read of where he’s currently at in his development and where he can eventually be in the future. Once he adds more mass to his frame, Troullos will continue to raise his ceiling as a prospect, and one of our questions for him at the combine will be if that will affect his play in 1-on-1s in press-man coverage. We expect he’ll likely test well in the combine drills with quality athletic ability, but knowing if he has the strength to create separation off the line with his release will be what we’ll be looking at the most.
Tug Valley 2026 ATH Bryson Elia Bryson Elia 5’10” | 150 lbs | ATH Tug valley | 2026 State WV played just about everywhere for the Panthers last season and performed at a high level at each of them. Elia finished his sophomore season just shy of 2,000 all-purpose yards at the small school level where he lined up at QB, RB, WR, DB, and returner on special teams. It’s tough to say right now which spot he eventually ends up at in college, but that kind of versatility and athletic ability will only benefit him in the future. Elia is just a gamer and is coming off hitting the game-winning basket in the Class A basketball state championship. That translates to any sport or position he plays, and it will be great to see how he stacks up against athletes from bigger schools and some highly ranked players. That’s the main question we’ll be looking for him to answer at the combine along with which position he fits best at currently.
The combine will be a big opportunity for Berkeley Springs 2026 TE Adam Rippeon Adam Rippeon 6’2″ | 210 lbs | TE Berkeley Springs | 2026 State WV as he’ll be one of the few true tight ends in attendance. Rippeon currently ranks as the #6 TE in the class and a Top 125 player right now, but this will be the first time getting to see him in person which will be telling for us. The Berkeley Springs program has struggled lately, so Rippeon hasn’t truly shown what he’s fully capable of to this point. That can change quickly at the combine and will give us a bigger sample size of his abilities and ceiling as a TE prospect. Our two main questions for him that we’ll want answered are does he have the athleticism to be a scholarship-level TE and can he be a formidable pass catcher for the position? We’ve only gotten a small glimpse of those the past two seasons but will get a great look at them in person at the combine.
Another recently ranked prospect who will put his talents on display at the combine is Chapmanville’s Austin Adkins Austin Adkins 5’10” | 165 lbs | WR Chapmanville | 2026 State WV . Adkins was very productive for the Tigers last season and has momentum going into his junior year. He ranks inside of our 2026 WR Top 25 right now but could open our eyes further with a strong performance at the combine. We’re anxious to see how high his athletic ceiling is during the combine testing portion of the event and if can he emerge as one of the better receiver performers in 1-on-1s. Adkins showed very good after the catch ability last season, but we’ll be looking for him to prove he’s also a quality route runner and can create consistent separation in a camp setting, especially in 1-on-1s at a level we know he’s capable of.
Jefferson 2026 offensive lineman Kip Waldeck Kip Waldeck 6’1″ | 230 lbs | OL Jefferson | 2026 State WV will be one of many talented big men in that class competing at the combine, and he recently made his debut in the 2026 rankings as the #22 OL. The only thing keeping him from being higher in the rankings is size, but he proved that doesn’t hold him back from watching his sophomore highlight tape. That’s the main question we have for him heading into the combine and if he can continue to prove his size isn’t a factor against some bigger linemen who will be in attendance. Waldeck can make a steady climb in the rankings with continued physical growth as the other traits were there on film.
Highlights
Doddridge County 2026 quarterback Brysen Dixon Brysen Dixon 5’8″ | 140 lbs | QB Doddridge County | 2026 State WV will be one of the few prospects at the combine that we have seen in the past at a previous camp, so it will be great to see how much he has progressed over the past year. He’ll be just one of two ranked WV quarterbacks currently set to be in attendance, and we expect big things from him because of that. Outside of the size questions, we’ll be looking for him to show the strides he’s made since last seeing him and what his arm strength looks like as an undersized passer. Dixon will be able to put that on display during 1-on-1s with some deep ball opportunities as well as on deep posts/corners and out routes. He’ll always be fighting size concerns until he grows some more, but Dixon can continue to brush those off with a strong showing at the combine.
