Lopez recently debuted in our 2026 rankings as a Top 75 player and a Top 15 offensive lineman in the class which he backed up during the Combine. He’s very strong for his age and has a good wrestling background that we saw on film and were able to see during 1-on-1s. Lopez has great hands use and leverage ability from his time on the mat with a strong base and upper-body. He’s a talented interior lineman who saw a majority of his reps last season at center but can also slide over to guard and even some tackle.

Lopez was also able to show us he has the footwork and agility to pair with those other qualities which was great to see in person.

Another exciting 2026 offensive lineman set to attend the combine is Herbert Hoover’s Mighty Lopez Mighty Lopez 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Herbert Hoover | 2026 State WV . Lopez just debuted in our 2026 rankings as a Top 15 OL in the class and could climb even higher with a strong combine performance. We’ll be looking for Lopez to showcase his wrestling background as an offensive lineman, which he did on film, and we want to see the physicality, upper-body strength, and leverage technique translate to a camp setting in 1-on-1s. Our question for him heading into the combine is will he have the athleticism and footwork to pair with those other traits? If he can prove as such, Lopez can show he’s a complete offensive line prospect and be thought of even more highly than he already is.

With a name like Mighty, you have to back that claim up and mighty he is. The 6’1 275 big man saw time at both tackle and center for the Huskies as a sophomore and projects as an interior lineman pending further growth in size. I thought he gave quality pass pro reps at tackle for a lineman of his size and length, but a move inside is where you begin to see the potential and upside he has as a prospect. Lopez is a physical, strong young lineman who is also a bruiser in the running game and is very stout for his age. From watching his film I had a suspicion that he was also a wrestler and sure enough that thought was confirmed after some research as he finished 6th in the AA/A 285-pound weight class at the state wrestling tournament and a 44-15 overall record. The upper-body strength and leverage ability were obvious when watching his tape and will greatly benefit his game on the football field. Lopez is another prospect we’ll get eyes on at our combine in early May where he should be one of the top performers in the big man category.
