is one of the best athletes in Class A this season and an easy X-Factor selection. He’s missed some time late in the regular season, and the Panthers are a much different team with him on the field, among some other injured teammates. Elia is a very dynamic playmaker on both sides of the ball and can change the outcomes of games by himself. If he’s able to go in the postseason, Elia is a must-watch.

was a Top Performer at last year’s Combine Series and stood out again at this year’s event. Elia was a Top 5 DB at the camp in our eyes, presenting excellent man coverage skills during 1-on-1s. He has the raw athleticism to play all over the field on Friday nights as a Top 15 ATH in our rankings, but DB may just be where he settles in at in college. Elia has the speed and fluidity to play corner and is very good at sticking to receivers. Even when he finds himself out of position at times, Elia has the ability to quickly flip his hips and redirect his path with the closing and reaction speed to make a play on the ball.

. Elia has played just about everywhere at the high school level and has been one of the more productive 2026 prospects in the state to this point. The college coaches at the Combine named him a Top 5 DB Performer, but Elia is just as talented of a receiver as he is a defensive back. He’s just an overall playmaker who is a natural athlete who excels at any position or sport that he plays. Elia also had strong testing numbers for his age which included a 4.8 40, 4.38 pro shuttle, and a 7.6 L Dill that can be improved in drier conditions and as he gets older.
Just get the ball in Elia’s hands and he’s going to make good things happen for your team. He’ll continue to be one of the top small school athletes over the next two seasons and it will be fun to watch how much more he develops, especially as he gets bigger.

played just about everywhere for the Panthers last season and performed at a high level at each of them. Elia finished his sophomore season just shy of 2,000 all-purpose yards at the small school level where he lined up at QB, RB, WR, DB, and returner on special teams. It’s tough to say right now which spot he eventually ends up at in college, but that kind of versatility and athletic ability will only benefit him in the future. Elia is just a gamer and is coming off hitting the game-winning basket in the Class A basketball state championship. That translates to any sport or position he plays, and it will be great to see how he stacks up against athletes from bigger schools and some highly ranked players. That’s the main question we’ll be looking for him to answer at the combine along with which position he fits best at currently.
