has been a steady force in Chapmanville’s passing attack as the Tigers make their playoff run. Returning as a key target, he’s compiled 39 receptions for 550 yards and three touchdowns this season while also contributing four interceptions on defense. Adkins is a quick, elusive playmaker out of the slot who can impact the game in multiple ways, whether on screens, quick throws, or stretching the field vertically. His ability to move the chains and create scoring opportunities makes him a critical weapon for the Tigers, especially in high-pressure postseason situations.

has been a consistent top target for the Tigers in the passing game for multiple years and returns as their leading receiver from the 2024 season. He posted nearly 500 yards and 4 touchdowns as a junior as they broke in a freshman quarterback, and he should build on those numbers as a senior. Adkins is a dynamic playmaker out of the slot who’s quick and shifty with the ball in his hands. He’s a threat to score any time he touches the ball and can be utilized in the screen and quick throw game or take the top of the defense. You can also count on Adkins to move the chains and is someone to look for on third downs.

led the Tigers in receiving as a sophomore in 2023 and will return for his junior season which could see him hit even better numbers as a junior. Adkins caught 28 passes for 551 yards and 3 touchdowns while averaging nearly 20 yards per catch. He also got involved in the running game with 125 yards and 3 more scores and was the all-purpose yards leader with just over 1,000 total. Adkins is another Chapmanville prospect that we were able to see in person at the PRZ WV Combine and showed off quality lateral quickness during testing and you can see that trait in his sophomore film. He has very good feet and change of direction ability which makes him a difficult tackle in the open field. Adkins’ YAC ability is impressive and led to his high average as a sophomore.
Adkins is an under-the-radar 2026 prospect who will have college opportunities by his senior year and is a natural playmaker that you need to know this season.

. Adkins was very productive for the Tigers last season and has momentum going into his junior year. He ranks inside of our 2026 WR Top 25 right now but could open our eyes further with a strong performance at the combine. We’re anxious to see how high his athletic ceiling is during the combine testing portion of the event and if can he emerge as one of the better receiver performers in 1-on-1s. Adkins showed very good after the catch ability last season, but we’ll be looking for him to prove he’s also a quality route runner and can create consistent separation in a camp setting, especially in 1-on-1s at a level we know he’s capable of.

who flashed dynamic playmaking ability as a sophomore in 2023. He was the leading receiver for the Tigers last season catching 28 passes for 551 yards and 3 scores and even got some reps in the running game for 125 yards and 3 more scores. The 5’10 165 rising junior is a quick and shifty slot receiver who has very good after-the-catch ability and is a natural playmaker with the ball in his hands. Adkins does a nice job of extending plays and has an innate ability to make defenders miss in the open field and tight spaces. He can make plays at all three levels of the route tree and can be a guy who can turn a short or intermediate pass between the sticks into a big main or stretch the field vertically on slot fades or seam routes. The 2026 WR class appears to be a deep group at this early stage, and Adkins ranks inside the Top 25 at this juncture with room to rise with continued development and success.
