This will be the first time getting to see Ripley 2026 WR Connor Pritt Connor Pritt 6’1″ | 170 lbs | WR Ripley | 2026 WV in person and a new name on our radar heading into the combine. We don’t currently have any film or much info on Pritt right now, so our real evaluation of him will come after the event and over the next two seasons. The one thing we do know about him that we like is his 6’2 length. Our question for every prospect without any film right now that we’ll want to be answered at the event is what he’s capable of right now and where he’s at in his development. We’ll have more on Pritt after the event, but keep an eye on the under-the-radar receiver with that size.
Highlights
From the small glimpse that we’ve gotten of him to this point, Jefferson 2026 WR Ricardo Lewis Ricardo Lewis 6’2″ | 170 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2026 WV may be poised for a breakout performance this upcoming season and a standout at the combine this Saturday. The first trait he has working for him is his size at 6’2 170 and a track background that will translate to the football field. We don’t have much film of him to truly evaluate right now and will get a better idea of his ability after the combine and over the next two years, but Lewis has the size and raw athleticism to develop into a quality receiver prospect in time. He boasts a self-listed 4.63 40 time that we’ll be able to confirm at the combine during the testing portion, and if we’re able to do so, his ceiling will immediately rise. That’ll be one of the questions we want him to answer at the camp as well as where he’s at as a football player and receiver right now given the lack of film available to this point.
Highlights
The Hampshire Trojans will have their QB1 Landon Eversole Landon Eversole 5’10” | 180 lbs | QB Hampshire | 2026 WV representing at the combine this Saturday as he looks to show what he can do. The Hampshire program is typically an under-the-radar team as a whole but will be moving down a classification to the new Class AAA beginning in 2024 which could help their trajectory and players like Eversole. He’s an athletic option at quarterback and should post some quality testing numbers during the combine. We’ll be watching him closely to see if he also has the arm talent to pair with his athleticism which will be the biggest question we’ll want him to answer. Oftentimes, we consider smaller quarterbacks as run-first QBs, but Eversole did have some nice throws on his sophomore highlight tape and is a capable passer. We’ll be looking to see just how capable he is in a setting that’s heavily focused on the arms of quarterbacks.
A small school receiver who will be looking to prove he can play with the big boys at the combine is 2026 Clay-Battelle WR Braden Ponceroff Braden Ponceroff 6’0″ | 150 lbs | WR Clay-Battelle | 2026 WV . The first trait you recognize when watching his film is his tough and contested catch ability. Ponceroff was a very good possession receiver last season for the Cee Bees who flashed reliable hands and a knack for acrobatic and difficult catches. His body control is very good for a young receiver and does a great job making catches over defenders and high-pointing the ball. Our question for him to answer at the combine outside of competing against stiffer competition is whether he also has the speed and quickness to consistently create separation. We know Ponceroff has the innate ability to catch the ball, but we’ll want to see his route running and athleticism before the catch on display to further gauge his ceiling as a prospect.
The second half of the Hundred Hornets’ dynamic sophomore duo who will be making the big jump up to North Marion the next two seasons is 2026 RB/LB Karter Parson Karter Parson 5’9″ | 195 lbs | LB North Marion | 2026 WV . Unfortunately, Parson was limited to just 6 games last season due to injury, so he’ll be looking to further showcase what he can do at the combine against some of the best the state has to offer. We got to catch one of his games this past season and loved the toughness and physicality he plays with. Parson won’t be able to show that aspect of his game as much in a camp setting, so we’ll be looking for him to answer if he’s made strides in his athleticism and if he can also be a pass catcher out of the backfield. He may see reps at linebacker as well at the event, but we believe he’s capable of being a RB/FB type of prospect.

The Brooke Bruins will be looking for a lot of underclassmen to step up in 2024 after graduating a large senior class, and prospects like Ethan Fisher Ethan Fisher 5’11” | 155 lbs | WR Brooke | 2026 WV will be called upon. Fisher could be considered for several positions, but we like him the most as a WR right now. He also has QB and DB experience but expect him to work out as a WR the most at the combine where he’s flashed potential on the limited film available to us. We expect Fisher to have some solid testing numbers in that portion of the camp and is someone who could do some good things during 1-on-1s. Our biggest question for him that we want to be answered at the combine is if WR is his best position and if he can prove the hunch we have about his athleticism.
We are big fans of linemen who come from the Bridgeport Indians’ program and will get to see one of their young ones coming through their system in action at the combine in 2026 OL Braedyn Yates Braedyn Yates 5’11” | 220 lbs | OL Bridgeport | 2026 WV . He may one day be considered a long snapper in our rankings as he has versatility at that position as well with size that may better fit there as a college prospect. We’ll get to see him compete as an offensive lineman at the combine though to see how he holds up against some bigger bodies, but Yates should have the physical strength to hold his own. He also competes as a powerlifter and just finished in second place at the Glen Elk Iron State meet in the 220-pound division. Undersized but strong linemen can always sneak up on bigger athletes who may overlook their smaller size, so don’t be surprised to see him win his fair share of reps in 1-on-1s. That’ll be our main question for him to answer at the combine without any film available right now, and we’ll have a much better understanding of Yates’ game at this stage of his career after the event.
Highlights
There will be a pair of exciting 2026 quarterbacks in attendance who we have yet to see play but expect things from at the combine and in the future which includes Scott’s Jeremiah Brown Jeremiah Brown 6’3″ | QB Scott | 2026 WV . The Skyhawks graduated one of the top quarterbacks in the state the past few years with Matt Frye Matt Frye 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Scott | 2024 State WV who earned PRZ WV Class AA Offensive Player of the Year honors and will need to replace the high level of production he produced during his career. Scott runs a spread offense that loves throwing the ball all over the field, so they’ll need a talented passer to run that system. Brown appears to be next in line to take over those reins and will have one of, if not the best receiver corps to throw to in the new Class AA. That will be our question for him to answer at the combine as to whether he can give us a glimpse of what’s to come next season and if he can step right as QB1 in for a program with high aspirations in 2024.
The other 2026 quarterback whom we have high expectations for but haven’t seen play yet is Lincoln’s AJ Bart AJ Bart 6’0″ | 160 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2026 WV . Bart earned some accolades last season for the Cougars as a sophomore QB1 which included WVSWA Class AA Honorable Mention All-State and All Big-10 honors. He threw for over 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns last season in his first year as a starter and should be one of the leaders in the state for the next two years. Bart is on our Watch List until film becomes available, but you don’t just luck into stats like he put up in 2023 and expect him to be one of the better quarterbacks in attendance at the combine. We’ll have a better idea of his game after the event and are very excited to finally be able to see what he can do.
Highlights
St. Albans 2026 WR Machai Cook Machai Cook 6’3″ | 200 lbs | WR St. Albans | 2026 WV is flying under-the-radar right now after playing in just four games last season but flashed potential and upside with the film he has available. Cook is a big-bodied receiver at 6’3 200 who could potentially grow into a TE prospect by the time he’s a senior. That’s one of the questions we have for him heading into the combine is whether he projects as a WR or TE prospect and we’ll know more after seeing him in person and the testing numbers he puts up. We’re looking to see him fully utilize his size and length in 1-on-1s as we get a better read on his athletic ability and play on the field.
Highlights
Big Ryder Fellows Ryder Fellows 6’2″ | 315 lbs | OL East Fairmont | 2026 WV of East Fairmont just missed ranking inside of our 2026 Top 125 during the spring update but currently sits inside the Top 25 for offensive linemen in the class at #24. At 6’2 315, Fellows has the size to play at the next level, but we’ll be following him closely to see if he also has the athleticism to determine which level he’ll end up at. That’s the biggest question we have for Fellows to answer at the combine as he goes through the testing portion and how he moves in individual drills and 1-on-1s. Size and strength were apparent traits when watching his film which gives him a solid foundation to build upon over the next two years as he further develops his footwork and agility.
Princeton will be looking to try and fill the large void left by the graduation of Dom Collins in 2024 and will need some underclassmen to step up to do so. 2026 WR Wyatt Cline Wyatt Cline 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR Princeton | 2026 WV will be one of those prospects looking to do so after finishing his sophomore season as the Tigers’ fourth-leading receiver in an offense that loved to spread the ball through the air. The #1 aspect of his game that we noticed and greatly appreciated when watching his film was his dedication as a blocker, especially in the slot. At 5’11 160, you don’t often see receivers his size putting the effort that he puts forth in the blocking side of the position which will greatly benefit him moving forward as a prospect. Our question for him at the combine since that trait won’t be on display as much in a camp setting will be, can he show that he can level up his game as a junior and be one of the consistent reliable receivers that they’ll need to step up?
Highlights
Philip Barbour will be searching for some running backs to step up in 2024 after the graduation of the very productive Nate Hulver Nate Hulver 5’10” | 175 lbs | LB Philip Barbour | 2024 State WV and 2026 RB/LB Logan Beam Logan Beam 5’8″ | 170 lbs | RB Philip Barbour | 2026 WV will be in the mix. He did some great things on special teams for the Colts as a sophomore where he led the in kickoff return yards averaging 29 yards a return and scoring two touchdowns. That dynamic playmaking ability will translate to more touches and production on offense after seeing some spot duty in 2023 at running back. The question we have for Beam heading into the combine will be can he show off that playmaking ability as an offensive player in 1-on-1s without having kickoff reps available at the camp? That will give us a better idea of what to expect next season and in the future for his play and role on offense but being a talented kick returner will be very beneficial for him as a prospect.
We liked what we saw from the limited sample size of highlights that were available from 2026 University WR Glenn Brown Glenn Brown 6’0″ | 150 lbs | WR University | 2026 WV . He looks like someone who is poised for a breakout junior year in 2024 and flashed serious playmaking ability as a sophomore in the games that he played. Brown did so as a receiver and returner on special teams but has DB versatility that we may also see at the combine. He’s an under-the-radar prospect heading into the event who could quickly turn heads with his performance. With a limited available sample size right now, our question for Brown at the camp will be can he prove the good hunch we have about him as an athlete and show he’s ready to break out in 2024?
A new name on our radar heading into the combine is 2026 Jefferson WR Tre’Von Ledbetter Tre’Von Ledbetter 5’11” | 170 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2026 WV . Ledbetter will be making the move to the Cougars’ program this season from Washington to bolster their receiving group even further. Without any available film to evaluate, we’ll have a better idea of his game after the combine but anticipate him showing us some good things during the event. We’ll have more on Ledbetter in the following days once the combine concludes, especially if he shows out like we know he’s capable of.
Highlights
Parkersburg South is another team that will be looking for underclassmen to step up in 2024 after losing a good chunk of talent from their 2023 team. 2026 WR/DB Derek Sandy Derek Sandy 5’8″ | 165 lbs | WR Parkersburg South | 2026 WV is one of those players who could see more playing time next season as a junior on both sides of the ball. He showed flashes as a freshman on their younger team, but we’ll be looking to see how much he’s progressed since then without any sophomore film available which is the question we have for him at the combine. Sandy lists some quality testing numbers on his Twitter/X account and we’ll look to confirm those numbers at the combine during testing. We’ll get a better idea of where he’s currently at in his development during the camp and more evaluation.
We’re anxious to see 2026 Meadow Bridge RB/LB Kaiden Sims Kaiden Sims 6’1″ | 200 lbs | RB Meadow Bridge | 2026 WV in person for the first time as he just missed making our 2026 Top 125 during the spring update. Sims had a prolific sophomore season for the Wildcats rushing for over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns at the small school level, but we’re looking to see how he stacks up against some of the best athletes in the state. Sims is a big athlete for his age at 6’1 200 who we believe will eventually project as a linebacker prospect by the time he’s a senior. We hope to see him get reps at both spots at the combine to see which position he looks best at right now. The biggest question we have for Sims to answer at the event is whether he can go from a big fish in a small pond to proving he can compete with some high-caliber athletes from some of the bigger schools in the state.
2026 East Fairmont WR Gavin Murphey Gavin Murphey 5’7″ | 125 lbs | WR East Fairmont | 2026 WV may be undersized, but he’ll put his track background and athleticism on display at the combine. Murphey was a very good return man for the Bees as a sophomore in 2023 and should be able to showcase that dynamic ability during 1-on-1s. We expect him to have some quality numbers during the testing portion of the camp but are eager to see him perform as a receiver. Murphey also did some nice things on offense last season from the slot where he proved to be dynamic in the open field. The question we have for him to answer at the camp is if he can confirm raw athleticism we believe he has during testing and if he can overcome his size limitations in 1-on-1s to show that doesn’t hold him back.
