has stepped into a larger role for the Cee-Bees in the playoffs, focusing primarily on his natural position as a pass catcher after contributing at quarterback and safety last season. Ponceroff combines instincts, playmaking ability, and a strong understanding of the game, making him a consistent offensive threat. He’s a small college prospect that would be a valuable addition to a D3 program and likely to produce at the next level.

. He produced at quarterback and safety as well last season, but is a natural pass catcher and should primarily play there as a senior. Football comes naturally to Ponceroff with innate playmaking ability and high intelligence, and recognition for the sport. We got to see him compete at Fairmont State’s Prospect Camp earlier this summer, and Ponceroff is a must know for D3 programs with the potential of D2 looks.

. He’s been a very good player for the CeeBees at a few different positions during his high school career, but his most natural position may be at receiver. That’s where Ponceroff worked at the Fairmont State Elite Camp and had a couple of winning reps that we were able to see during 1-on-1s. He has quality length and the frame that will benefit from added mass at the next level to increase his ability further. Ponceroff is a high football I.Q. player who can overcome physical limitations with his knowledge of the game.

. The first trait you recognize when watching his film is his tough and contested catch ability. Ponceroff was a very good possession receiver last season for the Cee Bees who flashed reliable hands and a knack for acrobatic and difficult catches. His body control is very good for a young receiver and does a great job making catches over defenders and high-pointing the ball. Our question for him to answer at the combine outside of competing against stiffer competition is whether he also has the speed and quickness to consistently create separation. We know Ponceroff has the innate ability to catch the ball, but we’ll want to see his route running and athleticism before the catch on display to further gauge his ceiling as a prospect.
