2026 North Marion LB Karter Parson Karter Parson 5'9" | 200 lbs | LB/P North Marion | 2026 State WV showed out at our recent PRZ WV Combine where he earned LB Top Performer honors and followed that up with another strong performance at the Bethany College Prospect Camp. He continues to test well as he makes strides in his athleticism and posted strong numbers again with a 5.01 40, 4.5 pro shuttle, and a 3-yard broad jump. Parson has been moving much more fluidly since his freshman year and should be able to get those numbers even lower by the time he’s a senior. You could see the progress he’s made during the individual position drills portions of the camp and he had some winning reps during 1-on-1s in pass coverage as well. The Bethany coaches took notice as well of his strong camp performance and he’s now firmly on their radar if he wasn’t beforehand.

Parson will be fun to watch this fall to see how he transitions to his new school at North Marion from a very good two years at a very smalls school in Hundred. He’s putting himself in a position to earn a starting spot in 2024 and will have the opportunity to put his talents on display on a bigger stage for the Huskies.

It was great to see another 2026 LB prospect show out during the Combine and earn LB Top Performer honors in North Marion’s Karter Parson Karter Parson 5'9" | 200 lbs | LB/P North Marion | 2026 State WV . Parson recently moved from one of the smallest public schools in WV at Hundred to North Marion and was able to prove he could compete with some of the state’s best as a former small school player. We saw him as a running back prospect heading into the event, but Parson worked out as a linebacker and opened our eyes along with everyone else’s in attendance for that position.

Parson tested well and has made large strides in his athleticism since his freshman season. He was able to get under 5.1 seconds in the 40 as well as a solid 4.54 shuttle time and 7.65 in the L Drill. It will be fun to see how he performs at a much bigger school this season and next, but Parson had a great head start with a strong showing at the Combine.

The second half of the Hundred Hornets’ dynamic sophomore duo who will be making the big jump up to North Marion the next two seasons is 2026 RB/LB Karter Parson Karter Parson 5'9" | 200 lbs | LB/P North Marion | 2026 State WV . Unfortunately, Parson was limited to just 6 games last season due to injury, so he’ll be looking to further showcase what he can do at the combine against some of the best the state has to offer. We got to catch one of his games this past season and loved the toughness and physicality he plays with. Parson won’t be able to show that aspect of his game as much in a camp setting, so we’ll be looking for him to answer if he’s made strides in his athleticism and if he can also be a pass catcher out of the backfield. He may see reps at linebacker as well at the event, but we believe he’s capable of being a RB/FB type of prospect. 

Parosn missed the last portion of the season for North Marion, due to an injury but was quite productive when ont he field with 99 carries for 439 yards and five touchdowns. Well built running back and lienbacker at 5-foot-10 and 200-pounds, quality athlete.
