He’s shown potential as a slot receiver and return man during his career, with some athletic traits for colleges to mold into a future contributor in college. Fisher can find and create space as a route runner and has reliable hands in the short and intermediate levels of the passing game.

A 2026 prospect for D3 programs to check out from this season is Brooke WR/DB Ethan Fisher Ethan Fisher 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Brooke | 2026 State WV . He’s done some good things for the Bruins in all three phases of the game and could project on either side of the ball at the next level. Slot receiver feels like his most natural position as a prospect, with the quickness he possesses to create separations. We’ll learn more about Fisher’s game in the second half of the season as he gets more touches on offense, but small colleges should keep an eye on him moving forward.

2026 Brooke WR/DB Ethan Fisher Ethan Fisher 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Brooke | 2026 State WV is ready to have his breakout season at the varsity level after waiting his turn behind some quality athletes who have now graduated. The 5’11 160 rising junior was a participant at our PRZ WV Combine back in May and proved he has the athletic traits to develop into a quality skill player for the Bruins in time. Fisher should see time at receiver and defensive back this season as the young Bruins will need some previous underclassmen to step into starting roles in 2024. He even has some versatility as a wildcat-type quarterback who can run read-option with the threat to throw in certain packages.
We’ll get a better idea of his ability this season with more game film likely to be available, but keep an eye on Fisher as a potential playmaker ready to breakout.

The Brooke Bruins will be looking for a lot of underclassmen to step up in 2024 after graduating a large senior class, and prospects like Ethan Fisher Ethan Fisher 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Brooke | 2026 State WV will be called upon. Fisher could be considered for several positions, but we like him the most as a WR right now. He also has QB and DB experience but expect him to work out as a WR the most at the combine where he’s flashed potential on the limited film available to us. We expect Fisher to have some solid testing numbers in that portion of the camp and is someone who could do some good things during 1-on-1s. Our biggest question for him that we want to be answered at the combine is if WR is his best position and if he can prove the hunch we have about his athleticism.
