A starter since his freshman season, Obeldobel brings valuable experience on both sides of the ball and has developed into one of the more talented players on the roster. His wrestling background is evident in the way he plays with toughness and leverage, traits that fit well in the trenches. With another offseason behind him, Obeldobel is in line to be one of the top players on the Bruins’ team this fall.

Obeldobel has been a two-way starter for the Bruins since his freshman season, and that experience showed up on tape. He is a good football player who competes and brings value on both sides of the ball. The biggest factor holding him lower in the rankings right now is size, as his 6’1 215 frame limits his ceiling as an OL prospect. That said, Obeldobel is also a standout wrestler, and those athletes often continue developing physically throughout high school. If he can add more size over the next two years, his ceiling is considerably higher than where he currently sits in the rankings.

We’ll wait for him to produce game film to judge his future outlook as a prospect fairly, but we’re confident he’ll be a top big man in the 2028 class.
