On Monday, we released the 2026 Top 100 and throughout the week, we’ll be putting the spotlight on different players and position groups. In this post, we’re putting that spotlight on five quarterbacks to watch in this 2026 class. Lawton MacArthur QB Aivan Locklin Aivan Locklin 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Lawton MacArthur | 2026 State OK was covered earlier in this week in our Stock Risers article and Cascia Hall QB Barrett Mullen Barrett Mullen 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Cascia Hall | 2026 State OK was covered in our Top Newcomers article. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more prospect breakdowns within the 2026 class. And check back each Monday this month for another class update!
Bixby sophomore quarterback Carson Kirby Carson Kirby 5’11” | 185 lbs | QB Bixby | 2026 State OK was definitely one of the breakout stars of the 2023 football season. Kirby would end up being one of three different quarterbacks that saw playing time as the Spartans continued their winning ways. The sophomore would turn into Bixby’s leading passer and his best football is still ahead of him. Despite splitting time with two other quarterbacks, Kirby always seemed like he was in a rhythm and was incredibly consistent throughout his sophomore season. That was one thing that was incredibly impressive to watch. Kirby could come in and perform at a high level immediately. After watching Kirby a lot at this time last year, his production as a sophomore wasn’t entirely surprising to us.
Out of all the quarterbacks in the state’s 2026 class, Locust Grove signal caller Titan Hix Titan Hix 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB Locust Grove | 2026 State OK might be the most productive of the bunch. He was one of the best freshman quarterbacks in the state at Hennessey and then had another strong season in terms of production last year after making the move to Locust Grove. Hix has an absolute cannon of an arm and can make a 50-yard pass look effortless at times. Hix has also shown the ability to tuck the ball and run and he’s been just as productive in the running game as he’s been throwing the ball. Hix has been a quarterback we’ve written about since his freshman season and it’s clear that his ceiling is incredibly high. He’s only going to get better and he already has several tools to be successful.
Highlights
Millwood quarterback CJ Turnbull CJ Turnbull 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Millwood | 2026 State OK is right there with Hix and a few other quarterback prospects on this breakdown. Turnbull has started for Millwood since week one of his freshman season and he’s continued to grow as a quarterback prospect. Turnbull is a lot like the new breed of quarterback where he has the ability to beat defenses with his legs but he uses it as a last resort. Turnbull has an incredibly strong arm and he’s been a pass-first quarterback so far. But you can’t forget about what a threat he is as a runner. His growth as a signal caller has been apparent in the last month or so. The Millwood standout has seen his recruitment start to take off with his first D1 offer. He’s just scratching the surface on what he can be in a few years.
Highlights
Sand Springs signal caller Easton Webb Easton Webb 6’4″ | 205 lbs | QB Charles Page | 2026 State OK has been committed to play baseball at Oklahoma State since he was a freshman. But don’t overlook his abilities on the gridiron. We’ve seen Webb several times in person since his freshman season and one of those instances was earlier this offseason. Webb might have one of the strongest, if not the strongest arms in Oklahoma. It’s very similar to the baseball theory when a baseball is hit by a special hitter. It just sounds different. When Webb’s passes were caught, it just sounded different. There was a pop that we didn’t hear from some of the other quarterbacks in attendance. It will be interesting to see how Webb continues to develop on the football field but he certainly belongs as one of the best.

Out of the five prospects on this breakdown, Cruz Campbell Cruz Campbell 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Tuttle | 2026 State OK might be the most intriguing of the bunch. Because based on pure arm talent alone, Campbell is right up there with the best of the crew. But when it comes to the quarterback position, undersized prospects have to go above and beyond to stand out. And Campbell doesn’t have the prototypical size. And while we’re not sure that should matter much, history says that it could play a factor. But we’re fired up to see what he can do this fall. After starting at Southmoore for two years, Campbell has moved to Tuttle and is looking to lead a talented team back to the mountain top in Class 4A. And Campbell immediately becomes one of the top signal callers in 4A football.
