continues to hold on to the top overall spot in our 2024 rankings. Despite missing some time this season with injuries, Okoye has been one of the more impressive looking athletes we’ve seen in recent memory. Okoye is incredibly special when you look at his raw athleticism. The sky is the limit for this home school prospect when you combine his athletic ability and his willingness to put the work in. Okoye qualifies as a physical freak with some of the numbers that he’s been able to put up in the weight room. You simply don’t see that at the high school level very often. Earlier this season, Okoye announced his commitment to Oklahoma, choosing the Sooners over Tennessee and Texas. As NOAH closes out their season, looking for another national title, Okoye should shine bright.

is hands down the top prospect in the state’s 2024 class and a prospect like Okoye simply doesn’t come around very often. We don’t say the following statement very often, but Okoye looks like a future NFL draft pick already. He has a very unique blend of overall athleticism with brute strength and quickness that makes him a nightmare coming off the edge on the line of scrimmage. It’s necessary to double team him at all times and sometimes that’s not enough. And as if he wasn’t impactful enough, Okoye could also turn around and play some offense as a tight end or even out at wide receiver. We saw his potential on offense firsthand at our 7v7 tournament in February. But he is a prototypical edge rusher at the next level and beyond.

out of the Tulsa NOAH program. Okoye is off the charts with his overall athleticism and he’s he definition of a freaky athlete that can do so many things incredibly well. We’ve mentioned this a few times and we really don’t take this statement likely but Okoye looks like the type of football prospect that will end up being drafted in the NFL in a few years. There’s still a lot of football to be played between now and then for the homeschool star but Okoye is a very unique blend of size, speed and strength that we just haven’t seen very often come through Oklahoma in the last decade. Whether he has his hand in the turf and is coming off the edge or is standing up, he is a massive problem for opposing offensive linemen and a lot of them have no chance of containing Okoye. In 1 on 1 situations, Okoye is going to win just about every single time.

is the top-ranked prospect in our 2024 rankings and he absolutely looked the part throughout the morning on Tuesday. As a defensive end, Okoye demanded that opponents put two, and sometimes three players on him to keep their quarterback up right and him out of the backfield. But what continues to impress us is Okoye’s ability to be the best athlete on the field. And that’s a terrifying fact when you see Okoye’s size in person. But on offense, Okoye would line up at wide receiver or a split out tight end and would beat linebackers and defensive backs while running post routes and once he gets the ball in his hands, good luck bringing him down. Okoye passes every eye test in the books and has solidified his spot as the top guy in the state for the 2024 class.

and the freak athlete will be in attendance while playing with one of Sooner 7’s teams. Okoye is one of the best defensive ends in the country but he will be used this weekend as a tight end and that athletic prowess will be on full display throughout the two days in Broken Arrow. Whenever you’re talking about recruiting and prospects, the “eye test” usually gets brought up. There are few prospects that pass that “eye test” more than Okoye.

after a dominating junior season. Okoye has absolutely exploded as a true national prospect in the last 12 months and it hasn’t slowed down at any point. Okoye was a prospect we first saw in person last spring and at that point, he was already turning into that national recruit. Okoye is an unbelievable athlete and the production on the field, combined with his unique athleticism makes him that top prospect in the class. When Okoye wants to take over a game, he can do it in the blink of an eye. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Okoye coming up this spring and throughout the offseason. . It was probably around this time last year that we first got a chance to throw on the film for Okoye and we understood immediately that he had the potential to be one of the state’s prospects. From there, he’s continued to get better and his film, combined with seeing him in person, there isn’t a lot not to like about his game or his frame. Okoye has become a truly national prospect, earning offers from all over the country. Okoye is a match-up nightmare when he’s coming off the edge and it’s a necessity to have two players in charge of staying in front of him. And sometimes, that’s not enough. Okoye does play for NOAH, a home-school team, so the level of competition could be up for debate. But the deciding factor of him at the top is the eye test in person. It wouldn’t matter if he played for NOAH or Bixby, this kid would be a star.
