is the top available prospect in the state’s 2026 class. Webb committed to Oklahoma State when he was a freshman but he committed as a baseball prospect. Up until this year, Webb had remained committed to the Cowboys. But it became clear that Webb was arguably the top quarterback prospect in the state’s 2026 class. And with that, came more opportunities to play college football. Last season, Webb made a massive jump from sophomore to junior year. This season, he’s continued to be one of the absolute best at his position. At the time of this being published, Webb has Sand Springs knocking on the door of playing for a state title.

is going into his fourth year as QB1 of the Sandites and there wasn’t another player in the state that improved more from 2023 to 2024 than Webb. The Sandite signal caller was off the charts good in 2024 and would run away with Most Improved Player and was an All State 3rd Team selection. He threw for over 2,500 yards in his first two seasons combined and would throw for more than 3,500 yards last year alone. After 19 passing touchdowns in 2022 and 2023 combined, he threw 41 touchdowns in 2024. Webb has firmly established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the state going into this season and with his top weapons back at wide receiver, he could be even more dangerous.

did last year. Webb was so polished as a quarterback that his production from a stat standpoint was off the charts when you compare it to his first two seasons combined. We watched his film from last season and got to check him out in person and he checked every box you’re looking for. Now, the most interesting development with him as a prospect came in the last month. Since he was a freshman, Webb has been committed to Oklahoma State for baseball. He’s also one of the top baseball prospects in the state. He reopened his recruitment as he started to get football offers rolling in following the spring. He’s going to go into the 2025 football season as one of the top quarterbacks in Oklahoma.

is the first of several quarterbacks on this breakdown that got our attention during their freshman seasons. Webb earned the QB1 role as a freshman and hasn’t let go of it since. But the 2024 season saw Webb go from a solid quarterback with a lot of potential to arguably the best quarterback in the state. Following the 2024 season, we named Webb our Most Improved Player following a season where his production would absolutely explode and in some cases, it doubled what he had done in the previous two seasons combined. Webb made a significant leap as a quarterback and college coaches certainly are taking notice. Webb, who has been an OSU baseball commit since his freshman year is starting to get more offers on the gridiron.
