We’ll write this as many times as we have to until people start paying attention to what’s happening in southeastern Oklahoma. Idabel has some DUDES and they are going to be a fun team to watch this season and next. Running back Ravian Larry Ravian Larry 6’1″ | RB Idabel | 2025 State OK enjoyed a breakout season as a freshman and then backed that up with another stellar season last fall as a sophomore. Despite dealing with nagging injuries, Larry ran for over 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns and led Idabel to the quarterfinal round. But that was last season and Larry and the Warriors are hungry for a much deeper run in the playoffs. They’ve been a top five team in Class 2A all season but there’s no doubt that this is one of the deeper and more competitive classes in the state. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Larry in the future.
From southwestern Oklahoma to southeastern Oklahoma with Lawton Eisenhower running back Rashaud Hurt Rashaud Hurt 6’1″ | RB Lawton Eisenhower | 2025 State OK and he continues to be a top prospect to keep track of moving forward. Like Idabel, Lawton Eisenhower is not lacking talent in some of the skill departments and Hurt leads that group right now. Hurt was one of our favorite running backs that we watched during our team camp tour back in May and June. And his recruitment took off following a strong spring. He started earning offers shortly after the team camps and he followed up a strong offseason with a good start to his junior season. It’s going to be interesting to see how his recruitment continues as we get closer to the offseason and Hurt has a chance to showcase his talents at various camps and other events.
Bartlesville junior running back PJ Wallace PJ Wallace 6’1″ | RB Muskogee | 2025 State OK is an absolute star in the making and he’s been one of the best running backs in Class 6A-2 this season. The Bruins have been battle-tested against a brutal schedule but despite a 3-5 record, Wallace has been a star in just about every game this season. Wallace emerged as a standout last season with big numbers during his sophomore year. He’s backed up the hype this season with another strong performance. As we get closer to the playoffs, we anticipate Wallace taking his game to another level. Like some of the other running backs on this breakdown, Wallace is a complete game-changer on the offensive side of the ball. In addition to his abilities in the running game, Wallace is also a dynamic pass catcher. It’s only a matter of time before his recruitment explodes.

We’re getting close to “Teal season” in high school football. Laverne junior star Felix Teal Felix Teal 5’9″ | 180 lbs | RB Laverne | 2025 State OK has led his team to back to back state championships and he’ll look for a third consecutive gold ball in December. We got a chance to see Teal in person at our camp back in April and he exceeded our expectations and those were already high. So far this season, we’ve seen Teal on film lined up as a wildcat quarterback, running back and wide receiver. It didn’t matter where he was on the field, he found a way to make plays. Teal is a running back prospect that should not be overlooked because of his size or level of play. Teal is truly dynamic and he’s not just a small back that is quick in the open field. He’s a state champion powerlifter and can absolutely dominate wherever he’s lined up.

Tuttle’s Brady Mcadoo Brady Mcadoo 6’0″ | 180 lbs | RB Tuttle | 2025 State OK has been on our radar since early on in his sophomore season. We got a chance to see the junior standout in person earlier this season when the Tigers went on the road to face Blanchard. That night, not a lot was getting done on offense because of the weather conditions. But we wanted to see Mcadoo’s running style in person and it matched what we’ve seen on film for a while now. Mcadoo is a very physical runner but also has breakaway speed in the open field. For a little over a year now, Mcadoo has been the top offensive weapon in this Tuttle offense when he’s healthy. Mcadooo has the Tigers as contenders once again and we expect him to elevate his game as the playoffs get closer. Don’t overlook the other ways he can impact the game as well.
