The Prep Redzone High School Combine series continued this weekend in Oklahoma and high school standouts brought it on Saturday. We had some outstanding talent all across the state of Oklahoma and even some of the surrounding states. We’ll have a ton of coverage from the event dropping on Prep Redzone! In this post, we’re putting the spotlight on the quarterback position. We had another great group of quarterbacks this weekend and they all brought something different to the table. From rocket arms to tremendous improvement, we saw a little bit of everything. Weatherford 2025 quarterback Stone Chism Stone Chism 6'3" | 220 lbs | ATH Weatherford | 2025 State OK was covered earlier this week in our positional MVP article.
Our first quarterback on this spotlight is Union 2027 signal caller Dylan Taylor Dylan Taylor 5’7″ | QB Union | 2027 OK and he’s a unique selection for these spotlight articles. Taylor camped with us back in January and then again this weekend. He worked with the same coach that had him back in January and that coach came up to us and said that Taylor would definitely represent a “most improved” camper. We had a few guys this weekend that camped with us back in January. But you can certainly make the argument, and his coach did, that Taylor was the most improved camper from January to now. The leap that he made in the last three months was very noticeable and was something that stood out immediately.
Weleetka 2026 quarterback Isaiah Drake Isaiah Drake 6’1″ | 205 lbs | ATH Weleetka | 2026 State OK was on our shortlist of prospects we wanted to see in person this weekend. Drake is a prospect that we’ve watched on film and he’s had some outstanding production over the last two seasons. But Drake immediately passed the eye test and he put on a show this weekend from a pure arm talent perspective. Drake is also an outstanding athlete and similar to Chism, who was our QB MVP, Drake only showcased 50 percent of what makes him an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses. Drake is just as dangerous as a runner as he is as a passer. But on Saturday, it was all about Drake’s arm and he performed really well.
We were fired up to see Choctaw 2026 quarterback Landon Gatson Landon Gatson 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB Choctaw | 2026 State OK come to work this weekend because he is a QB prospect that might have the most upside of anyone in the class. We learned earlier this offseason that Gatson missed almost all of his sophomore season with an injury and on Saturday he looks like he’s back to 100 percent and ready for spring ball next month. Coming into this weekend, we already knew that Gatson might have the strongest arm in the state but watching it in person really opened some eyes to the coaches in attendance. As he continues to fine tune some of his skills moving forward, he’s going to see his stock as a prospect absolutely sky rocket.
Booker T Washington 2026 quarterback Levi Brooks Levi Brooks 6’1″ | QB Booker T Washington | 2026 State OK has had a really good offseason. We watched Brooks quite a bit this offseason while he was playing in different 7v7 tournaments. This weekend, he put in more work as a pocket passer at our camp and was one of the better passers in attendance. Saturday’s camp setting really set up nicely for Brooks to do what he does best and that’s throwing the ball down the field. He has a strong arm and ended up becoming one of the top performers at that position. Booker T Washington is moving down to Class 5A and they also have some strong young talent. Brooks and company are looking to bounce back in a major way this fall.
Collinsville quarterback Skyler Moorman Skyler Moorman 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Collinsville | 2026 State OK is quickly becoming a name to know in the state’s 2026 class. Moorman first got on our radar around this time last year at one of our camps. You could tell that there was a lot of natural ability there from a passing standpoint. Moorman would go on to have a solid sophomore season with the Cardinals and Collinsville is definitely one of the top teams in Class 5A as we head into the 2024 season. Watching Moorman throw it again on Saturday, we’ve noticed something in particular in his game that shows solid improvement. His delivery looks more compact and it’s allowing him to get the ball out quicker but with the same arm strength.
Woodland 2025 quarterback Trey Bennett Trey Bennett 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Woodland | 2025 State OK is a small town product that continues to impress us every time we see him in person. And we’ve seen him in person a handful of times over the last 18 months. From his performances at our camps to seeing him on Friday nights, Bennett usually finds his way as one of the standouts on our breakdowns. Saturday was no different and Bennett was putting the ball on a line throughout the afternoon. And just like some of the other quarterbacks that we’ve already written about, Bennett is much more than a pocket passer. He’s a terrific athlete and we’re expecting to see his all around production explode when this fall rolls around.
