There aren’t many quarterbacks in the state’s 2027 class that we’ve seen more than Dylan Turner at Union. Turner is one of those quarterback prospects that is always better than the last time we’ve seen him. That was the case again this spring when we caught the Redhawks in person. We’re looking forward to seeing what Taylor does in the Union offense this season. At this time last year, he was battling another QB for the starting position and that battle lasted throughout the season. This year, he looks like he is the guy and there’s plenty of potential there for a breakout season. Taylor is going to be a fun quarterback to watch when Union takes the field.

and he’s a unique selection for these spotlight articles. Taylor camped with us back in January and then again this weekend. He worked with the same coach that had him back in January and that coach came up to us and said that Taylor would definitely represent a “most improved” camper. We had a few guys this weekend that camped with us back in January. But you can certainly make the argument, and his coach did, that Taylor was the most improved camper from January to now. The leap that he made in the last three months was very noticeable and was something that stood out immediately.
